The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The houses are on a 3-4 min walk from the place where you eat and the spa. After being at the spa, you need to walk in the cold in the winter to get to the room if you do not bring the car.

"Klein ( a male staff at the reception ) was helpful, spoke fluent English. Sauna is great to heal the body after Snowboarding. In the sauna room, they prop sauna hats, and tea/water. There is a hot swimming pool too. I stayed in the dormitory room with 6 others. There is a huge locker inside the room, in all your amenities will be there. You can even keep your suitcase inside, it’s that big. The staff responded to all my questions on WhatsApp even when I was not in this county."

"Michael the doorman was very friendly and informative. He gave us plenty of information on the surrounding wildlife. The location was close to Fota wildlife park which was well worth a visit. There was a good selection for breakfast with a continental buffet and hot food from the menu. Lunch and dinner were also top notch. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were nice and quiet during the evening."

"Nice and spaceous property just a 5-10 min drive from Tahko Ski Resort. 3 of the rooms out of 4 had private bathrooms, which was very convinient. Also the sauna was very specious. Would come back again!"

"Everything was great! The location is excellent, the food was delicious, and most importantly, all the people who welcomed us throughout the hotel made a huge difference. We felt very well taken care of and we highly recommend it!"

The only point is that there are two types of rooms: some renovated and others older, without renovation. We recommend choosing the newer rooms if a more modern bathroom and updated furniture are important to you.

"Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und modern eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, dass alles neu ist. Besonders schön: die tolle Ausstattung mit Espresso-Maschine und kostenlosem Kaffee. Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.

You can feel that the hotel isn’t new, the tv and the air conditioning was very old and sometimes didn’t work but the staff helped us and were very nice.

"This place can put you in a wonderland and take you away from reality. There is nothing to dislike. That is the next level of comfort, service and heaven overall. Perfect for families and couples. All is made for guests, and all guests feel special."

No taxis nearby and no shuttle service to/from the train station. Their shuttle was in the shop the week I was staying there.

The breakfest is great, they have also a private beach the pool was clean and all the area was clean the room was good too

"Amazing views, right on Crocodile River and the bridge leading up to Malelane Gate. Staff were very cordial, polite and did their best to cater to our queries and needs. They even had our breakfast packed on the Saturday morning when we had planned to go to Kruger early. Our accommodation was also very nice, with all necessary amenities. Food options for dinner and other meals were excellent, including buffet and a la carte. Bar was nice too. Spa was excellent."

"They have a great little lagoon with excellent snorkeling at high tide. Lots of coral and fish to see."

The dive shop is always closed. Fortunately, there is an excellent one adjacent to the property and connected by a walkway. The restaurant is mediocre. The bar pool-side is closed until 5:00 pm but that’s all right because their cocktails are awful.

"Everything from A-Z was perfect, the staff was super friendly and helpful especially Ali the receptionist he organized and decorated the room for our marriage anniversary, my wife loved the surprise. The view of the Villa is breathtaking, the snow games are fun although I wish the weight limits were a bit more flexible."

The only thing was the elevator was making too much noise but one of the staff gave us another room, which I really appreciated.

Only 2 real dinner restaurants, and the Italian is closed on Mondays, so you need to make plans to eat off property some.

"There was a great breakfast - up to two dishes could be ordered for the selected time. The area is very well kept which should be the case for a golf field, that I could see from my window. It was silent all the time."

The only disadvantage was the cold temperature: I could not ejnjoy a table and terrace. But that is not about the great hotel. That is about November in Latvia!

The availability of activities and the food quality was quite limited

"Staff: super supportive. One of the member of our party injured, and Cresta staff immediately checked her status, then suggested us the solutions (private doctor or public hospital) then someone escorted us to the doctor then the pharmacy. Food: extremely rich breakfast, fantastic selection of foods for dinner. All the three evenings the staff congratulated to the guests who had anniversary with some folk-dance and singing improvized. The park: everywhere warthogs, some bushbucks, banded mongooses and cheeky vervets (be careful, they are stealers!) Rooms: cosy Programs: there is a travel office on site, and they organize trips to Vic Falls, Chobe Game Reserve and boat cruises on Chobe River."

"Anantara Resort offers a great and spacious atoll with several islands united, providing an array of experiences imaginable. Enjoy a relaxing massage over water, go snorkeling or swimming, witness breathtaking sunsets, and immerse yourself in a secluded atmosphere that will make you feel lost for a week. A huge plus is - transportation - it just takes 30min from Anantara to the airport by boat. We were staying with a baby and it was critical (no sea planes)"

Some villas may be facing docking points or ferry routs which is a little noisy.

"Perfectly situated by the beach with an amazing pool. We had a great time at the LUX. Everyone we met was very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our room with a great view on a gazebo and the ocean in the background. The food was excellent across the massive breakfast buffet and different restaurants for dinner. Special mention for the Carry’s bar (especially canard à la vanille and Rougail saucisse) as well as the Rougail citron dessert."

Hard to find something to mention. To be picky, we would have like a drink included in the half board dinner (soft, glass of wine).
