"The beach at the hotel was absolutely beautiful, and the location was perfect. Our room was stunning and the entire property was well maintained, with lush, beautifully kept grounds. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive—they went above and beyond to assist us with transfers from Mahé to Praslin and even helped us arrange a rental car. We also arrived earlier than expected, and they kindly allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated after a long journey. Overall, a wonderful and seamless experience."

"While the room was beautifully decorated for our honeymoon, it would have been lovely to have a few extra touches to make it feel more special—like a complimentary glass of bubbles or a small welcome treat. Also, the bed was a bit too soft for our liking. That said, overall we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality."

"We really enjoyed our stay at carana ! We booked a chalet with pool.. The photos were quite similar to the reality. The room was pristine clean. And spotless after every cleaning service. Since the occasion was our wedding anniversary, we really appreciated that the hotel offered a nicely decorated room, sparking wine, a free dinner and cocktails and a reduction on the spa service ! Also, we found the staff at the restaurant quite nice when they we were a french speaking couple, they automatically switch to french to make us feel welcomed. Also, wonderful beach !!! 5 stars with enough shaded spots to feel like you are alone."

"The view from our chalet was obstructed which was quite unfortunate. We could barely see the ocean. In that sense the chalet was overpriced. The prices for the a la carte menu were quite high, not a good quality/price ratio. However the daily dinner theme done by the restaurant was a mean to make a quite digest check. Doing that, the ratio became relly good. Its therefore recommended to only have dinner (and breaskfast) at the hotel. For lunch, you 'll find better options in town !"

"One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. A perfect choice if you’re not looking for activities, but simply want to enjoy the beach, great food, and a peaceful atmosphere. • Good breakfast buffet — plenty of fruit, fresh baked goods, some cheeses, and eggs cooked to order. • A different dinner menu every day, so we were able to try something new each evening. It included four courses: starter, soup, main course, and dessert. • Friendly and helpful staff — they even helped me organize a birthday celebration. • The hotel is slightly remote, with no shops or cafés nearby. However, this makes the beach quiet, uncrowded, and very cozy. It’s a calm and relaxing place overall. • For the beach, aqua shoes are recommended. To the left (closer to the rocks) it’s great for snorkeling; to the right the entry is gentler and safer if you just want to swim or jump in the waves."

"Minor note: You can sometimes hear conversations from the pathway outside the room. However, it’s not an issue since the hotel is small and there are no crowds passing by — most of the time it’s very quiet."

"Location is great, love being so close to the sea. Very nice pool and lounge area with sound of breaking waves. Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff. We’ve spend a night before going out on a catamaran and again after. That was perfect."
