"Excellent location in Mariefred, within walking distance of the castle and the shopping area. A great living area with dining table and kitchenette, and a comfortable bedroom, very cosy despite the chilly weather outdoors."
"The building overlooks the back of the supermarket so you should expect to hear delivery vans coming and going. We didn’t provide a rating for the staff as we didn’t meet anyone - it’s a self-service reception and access is all managed via email. It was very easy, just be sure to follow the instructions to the letter, as the asterisk on the keypad is hard to find in the dark!"
"Super central location with the supermarket right around the corner. You can have breakfast in the gib hotel in town but it cost extra. The room has a kitchen and feels like a small apartment"
"The kitchen was missing space and utilities. Also thinks like salt, oil, etc would have been useful. The room had the view to the delivery side of the supermarket with some noise in the morning."
"Fantastic location at the heart of Mariefred. Excellent room and add-on bicycles to roam around Mariefred. A perfect cosy homely atmosphere for a relaxing weekend with family next to Gripsholm castle and the Järnvägsstation. Look forward to staying again here. Loved it very much. Thank you."

"So quiet. Mariefred is a very nice little village and this hotel is in the middle of it. 5 minutes walk to the castle, 1 minute to a grocery store, book store etc and cafes. The room was clean and cozy with windows that could be opened. I took my morning smoke 50 steps away, on a bench looking out over the water and the castle, (attached pic)"
"Business hours. Dead before 10 and most stores closes 16-18 dies totally again at 21 and some stores and resturants isn't open everyday of the week. Attention! The castle is only open during the weekends and a few special selected days (halloween? etc) in the low season."

"Rent och fint. Bra sängar, ljust och fint. Parkering vid boendet, om fullt, gratis parkering något femtiotals meter längre bort.Det lilla problemet som uppstod vid vår ankomst löstes på et väldigt bra och professionellt sätt. Centralt beläget och lugnt och tyst."

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."
"Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."

"A beautiful small hotel that includes a delicious breakfast. The host is engaging and friendly. It’s in a great location with easy walking to the city center. Parking is just down the street and is inexpensive. The part we really enjoyed was the garden where we drank wine and shared a simple meal from local stores after a day biking to Ales Stenar."
