"Room , Breakfast and location was good . the hotel is walking distance from the ALVIK Metro Station , which is around 20 Mts away from the Stockholm Central Railway station . Breakfast was really good , with a good spread ."

"Nothing that we did not like .However we observed that Electric kettles are not provided in the rooms . All hotels need to provide important information on location of hotel in relation to the Main Railway Station and the Metro Railway station ."

It is only a 5 minute walk to the subway station and then 10 minutes to the city. It is close to the water, if you like to go for walks or go for a swim. It was a good choice and it did exceed my expectation,"

"The fact that after they remodeled the hotel, they no longer have phones in the room so you can call the front desk directly. You have to take the elevator downstairs if you need to ask something."

"The room is so spacious for family (superior family room). And the location is not too far from the city with tram, metro and bus stations are very close to the hotel. The price is afforfable while other hotels in the central are very expensive due to Ed sherran's concert."

"The hotel is situated right next to Alvik metro station. The green line takes you directly to Gamla Stan. Very practical in that respect. The neighborhood seems safe and calm - so calm in fact that there is very little to do or see around it, especially late at night so keep that in mind if you book in Alvik. But you can definitely make the most of it by taking a short walk along the waterfront and stopping by Poke Burgers for dinner. The hotel is clean and modern, with very comfortable rooms and complimentary facilities (gym, sauna). It’s not just a place to sleep but also to spend leisure time. You can lounge at the bar with a book or have dinner at the restaurant. The copious breakfast buffet was my favorite part ! Very generous spread of sweet and savory options, as well as a few available swaps for dietary restrictions. We took our time sampling a bit of everything. Very helpful and accomodating staff."

"Booking and Scandic both indicate the rooms are equipped with ”AC”. However, guests have no control over their own room’s temperature. It can get very hot or cold, depending on external factors. So make sure to bring varied layers for lounging and sleeping. I caught a cold the first night. It’s honestly very disappointing for a 4-star hotel. The hotel’s restaurant is closed on sundays. Not practical for guests when there are so few options nearby. Our stay happened to be on the same weekend as a sports competition, so the hotel was overrun by children. There was quite a bit of chaos and noise. Had we known, we would have picked a different place to stay."
