"Beautiful 20th century castle with lovely grounds. Large, elegant room with antique furniture & paintings & a view over the nearby lake. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Classy, comfortable dining rooms furnished with antiques and lots of large, paintings in gilded frames. Nice dinner service and food. Included breakfast was good too. Nature trail around lake with par-course was a delightful way to start the day."
"Shared bathroom, was down the hall, but since hotel was not crowded, the 2 attractive bathrooms were never occupied, so it was a very minor inconcenience."

"We were accommodated in the small house near entrance to the castle park. The room was clean and spacious with nice view, bathroom super big with bath. Breakfast very generous and delicious. For dinner you can pick from menu, all choices were great. Loved the possibility to order craft beers. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"Astonishing building and helpful staff. Set in beautiful grounds. A decent walk into town. Our rooms had magnificent balconies out onto the garden Dinner was also very good though the menu is small."

A short walk to the castle through some beautiful woods - it really felt like being in a fairy tale! Dinner in the castle was top notch, with amazing food and wine, and all at a reasonable price. Breakfast had an incredible choice and was delicious."

"Both the accomodation and the service were exceptional. The room was decorated in an aesthetically perfect manner and clean with relaxing view over the lake. Equally captivating was the reception and the space for lunch and breakfast, which were delicious and in abundance. The staff was helpful and friendly. Booking a stay and lunch is recommended for those interested in culture, history, nature and high quality."

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."
"Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."

"A beautiful small hotel that includes a delicious breakfast. The host is engaging and friendly. It’s in a great location with easy walking to the city center. Parking is just down the street and is inexpensive. The part we really enjoyed was the garden where we drank wine and shared a simple meal from local stores after a day biking to Ales Stenar."

"The location is excellent. Johan was extremely helpful in sending check in and parking instructions. Parking was convenient in a private lot less 5 minutes walking from the hotel. We enjoyed the included buffet breakfast at the cafe next to the hotel."
