"This property is adjacent to the Basilica in the heart of San Marino. Steeped in a rich family history, every detail of the space transports you back in time (except,thankfully, for the wonderfully modern bathroom 😉). Our host was easy to reach and even shared her family’s history! The walk from the parking area (we chose lot 7) took a few minutes, but all of San Marino is explored on foot so this wasn’t a burden. The home is very spacious with large rooms and high ceilings. The arrangement for breakfast was perfect and we often ate closer to noon without issue. I highly recommend the San Marino wines; they were delicious!"

"Not a negative - just a point of awareness that one may not consider; being close to the Basilica naturally means that you will be close to the bells. (They do not ring all night long, but do start around 6am). I had no issue with this, but I did come prepared with earplugs."

"Fantastic location! The property was stunning, and it was such a treat to stay there during our visit to San Marino. The beds were very comfortable, that includes the sofa bed; and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. The host was extremely accommodating and provided very clear instructions. Being just steps from the cable car made access incredibly easy, saving us the steep climb from the other side."

"The prime location does come with a bit of nighttime noise from pedestrians passing by, but it's minimal since most tourists leave before sunset."

"Everything! The apartment was located in the center of everything. The host was very attentive. The apartment is stunning 😍. There is so much historical significance. Restaurants are everywhere and a grocery within 4 to 5 minutes. I would 100% recommend this apartment for those who want to explore the beautiful historic town of San Marino!!"

"Wow!... just, Wow! Do yourself a favor and stay in this historical suite! You will feel like a real patron of San Marino from the time of the city's fathers! There is a surprise awaiting you on your entry, but I won't spoil it... I will just say it will most likely make your preferred social media feed as a "moment"! If your nice the owner may let you see more of the place when she brings your breakfast... not quite breakfast in bed, but a private dining area just outside your sleeping chambers... yes, chambers!"

"Not much could be better, I mean unless they convert the fireplace back to functional and actually provide servants in period costume! Of course, that will probably require a significant increase in the nightly rate!"

"Amazing location, enormous space with plenty of room for the family that felt a bit like staying in a museum. The host was so kind (and with our small kids too) and served a lovely Italian breakfast. She communicated well! What a unique bed and breakfast! Would 100% recommend it to anyone! What a cool experience!"

"I think the coffee situation could be improved (it would be nice if it was in the breakfast and balcony room, as opposed to the bedroom, and the coffee didn’t come out particularly hot). Also, the listing said there was an infant bed but there wasn’t one. Neither of those are dealbreakers though and we’d still recommend it to everyone!"
