"First impressions are forever for me. i was at ease right off. Staff/owners(?) live on site and i was given a key- no lock-outs or ins. Nice kitchen area and plenty of common area lounging. if you were any closer to the centro you'd wake up in church😀. There's a comedor(s) on the corner- very convenient but i cant rate because there were so many good places. i never had even a mediocre meal in Santa Ana so im sure they are fine. If these guys keep it up, they will be here as long as they want. Friendly pets kept me company. Thank you very much!!!"

"Only reason i gave a 9 not 10 is because i just dont give tens. Let's make it 9.5. I didnt rate quiet/lively because i think people have widely different perspectives on this. Hostel itself is tranquil. You are almost right downtown so there is traffic during the day. Best of both worlds for me. Library and convenience."

"Cute and quiet. They have a nice patio. The room didn’t have too many beds and the bathroom was directly connected to the room. A lot it buses stop right in front the hostel."

"The lockers are too small and don’t fit a backpack. At night the neighborhood is empty and made me feel a bit uncomfortable/unsafe."

"The staff are so friendly, the entrance have a chalk board for bus info, eating and atm’s which was very helpful. The coffee and water dispenser was great. And the courtyard, common areas were comfortable. It is a quiet hostal."

"It's funny: the weather was quite hot, so when I checked in, I immediately changed to my swimming shorts to discover that this location did not have a pool 😂 My bad, I assumed it had one because of the name."

"The staff are really nice. The hostel is next to the city center with the cathedral, bars, resturants and grocery stores. There is a good kitchen for cooking and it's a decently social hostel with people lounging around the main area. They have an arepa making class Mondays or tuesday nights? Good way to meet people. I got the private room and it was very spacious. Quiet at night and very safe. I would recommend staying here if you can ."
