"After a year of traveling and staying in countless hostels, I can confidently say Mantra is easily one of, if not the best out there. Unbeatable rooftop with an incredible sunset view, indoor common room with cozy seating and open space, consistent organized activities, clean and comfortable facilities, cafe with tons of delicious food options, a perfect location, and absolute top notch helpful and caring staff. I truly cannot stress enough how amazing this hostel is!! I will absolutely be back."

"The facility is good if you remember its price. The communication with the host was perfect, as well as the location. The room was modest but with all necessary equipment for such a price. The territory and the stuff are excellent."

The 6 beds room was small and we were tight.

"Comfortable beds, very clean, nicely decorated. Excellent pilgrim meal and wonderful service"

The push shower was the only thing I did not like but that really doesn’t matter much.

It is on the 2nd floor, and no lift, luckily i didnt bring heavy lugage.. also the staff service is amazing they offer to help to bring the lugage.

"I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The staff were incredible, especially Alexander he was super friendly, always available, and ready to help with anything. He really made the experience even better❤️❤️❤️. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless too. they have a professional cleaner everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was fully furnished, clean, and easy to use 👌👌. Most importantly, I had so much fun staying here. The atmosphere was great, and I felt comfortable the whole time. I would definitely recommend this hostel and would love to come back! Thank you Dimitra & Alex"

"I stayed here after I had done a 12 day tour trough Mongolia. I just needed a room and shower for myself, since I didn’t have that for over a month (I was traveling elsewhere before the 12 day tour). I stayed 2 nights and the bed was super comfortable! The whole place is nice and clean and very close to a market where they sell everything for very cheap. It’s also an easy 20 minute walk from the central square. The lady was very nice and let me stay a bit longer on the day I had to check out, which was really helpful for me. Thanks again!"

I like the property because the staff are kind and will help you when you’re carrying belongings.

"A very nice and atmospheric resort. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of parking spaces. There is a gazebo on site where you can barbecue and spend a nice evening. Additionally, a small playground for children. The rooms are very clean. Two toilets and 3 shower cabins per floor."

Sehr rustikal, viele Moskitos im Zimmer, die ziemlich genervt haben, kein Ventilator, aber zum Schlafen gab es aber ein Moskitonetznetz! leider hat es immer wieder geregnet und da das Badezimmer draussen war, musste ich durch den Regen, am WC hat es auch geregnet, Kakalaken in der Dusche und dem WC

"Quiet spot that's a short walk to the harbor where Nuuk Water Taxi and the Arctic Umiaq line leave from. The host was very friendly and helpful with luggage storage. Small place with only 3 rooms and a shared kitchen."

Wasn't a problem for me but as a warning you must climb up a lot of stairs to get in.

"Very well located in center of Athens. Walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. Value for money and facilities. Additionally providing luggage storage facilities before check-in or post checkout was added convenience. Good Roof Top Bar with view of Acropolis"

"Very social and super easy to meet other travelers, even during the off-season when the rooftop bar was closed."

Like everyone else said, the hill to get there is quite steep, but you do get used to it. The six bed dorm was quite spacious, but I do wish the beds were more comfortable and had curtains!
