"I liked the location.......convenient & not far from the airport.........I had an early flight the next a.m., so I did nit stay for breakfast"

We have had full access at the spa area, where was relaxing( 3 different saunas, pool, jacuzzi), also noticed the cleanness at all times. I warmly recommend this location."

"Our unit with kitchen and 2 bedrooms was spotless. Looks like we were given a set of new dishes as well as new bed sheets. The location was great. Could be within easy walking distance of the airport if carrying only light luggage. Within easy walking distance of Magazine Beach where we found the Aquarium Cafe, probably the best meal we had while visiting the island. Enjoyed the breeze from the top of Calliste Hill as well as watching, from my porch, local life at the gathering junction of Calliste Street and Coffee Street. Lots of local van taxis going either way, if needed to get anywhere quickly. Although the back of the Inn has the big views; we ended up with a street view unit, which was OK (plus lively) for 2 days. There is no longer a restaurant next door, although there are 2 small simple bars, one next door, the other across the street. Big off street parking lot if you have a car. Responsive and friendly staff."

For maintenance, I would probably freshly paint with water proof paint, the lower portions of the bathroom walls of the unit we were given; the walls just looked a bit water stained from shower use. The water cisterns make a loud noise when water taps are used, although it didn't last long plus our unit was located at the opposite end of the building from the cisterns. I just noticed the grinding noise and wondered if something in the water system was about to fail; the water pipes coming out of the cistern sounded unhappy.

"The family room was small, but had everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the drink prices were reasonable. The best choice in the area. Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds are comfortable. Very clean. Restaurant is recently renovated, beautiful and food was great for dinner and breakfast."

"Everything is perfect We came there for enjoying the Christmas eve and the top perfect it's snowing time, we were so exciting and happy with the view and timing. All about the hotel are exceptional.. staff, food, view, room Just perfect moment and time"

Hope they find a solution to handle the brutal driver who did something like racing in the front of hotel

Very isolated, surrounded by an abandoned resort. Menu very limited and expensive although the chef was very obliging and did cook of menu dishes for those who asked. Our room wasn’t cleaned twice and we had to remind someone to do it, we had to move rooms as the toilet facilities broke on our first room but this was handled quickly. For the cost of the room I would have expected a little more e.g. bottled water free in the room, tissues to be available in the room, better quality toilet paper.

There is no fridge in the room, only two glasses were given for three persons.

"The hosipitality from all staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful and understanding of all the cross border challenges we experienced. Our group was even offered transportation to and from the airport. Staff checked up with us every step of the way from pre-check in to post airport drop off.The rooms were beautifully set up and clean throughout our stay. Overall ambiance of the hotel gives island vacation , almost forgot this was a work trip"

"The location was just off the main street in a cool old building, and was walking distance from both the train station and the ferry. The room itself was comfortable with a good shower. My window overlooked the courtyard."

The hotel staff was just so courteous, hospitality is exceptionally great. They make you feel at home. I forgot some stuff in the hotel room, the staff was just so kind and helpful, they mailed my package all the way to USA! The suite was amazing - luxurious, with ocean view and a relaxing plunge pool. The breakfast buffet was gorgeous, enjoyed the spread. Overall perfect in all aspects, excellent stay, recommended to all my friends."

"The hotel is located right in the town centre. I have a super beautiful and comfortable deluxe suite room and I booked it here with a reasonable price. The room that I stayed has really good facilities, what I particularly like it is that there is a washing machine for you to wash your clothes. The room comfort, cleanliness and hygiene level is top-notch and you will have a good rest and sleep here. All the staff here are really efficient, professional and friendly. My room includes breakfast as well with unlimited servings and it fed me really well as I needed to use a lot of energy for my activity on that day itself, my breakfast meal at the hotel cafe is delicious, fresh and sumptuous. WiFi connection is fast and good."

"• The hotel is very modern, extravagant and visually beautiful, even if not everything is fully functional. • The rooms are extremely spacious and very comfortable. • The location is stunning — although it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, it is beautifully situated right on the Mekong River."

• The staff were very slow, especially in the restaurant. The bar/counter area often looked messy and disorganized. • Although the room itself was clean, the chocolate in the minibar was very old and moldy, which is unacceptable. • Some light bulbs in the room were not working or were flickering. • The small inner outdoor area of the room was dirty and poorly maintained.

Cons: You may hear noise from people outside on public deck. During our stay all observed quiet time after 11PM. We always have ear plugs so we are ok.

"I loved being right by the water on our balcony listening to the crashing waves. The swimming was excellent (other than when a group of young men stood with beer bottles in hand in the water, blocking the way on the clear path leading out beyond the stones). I liked the casual Caribbean “non trendy” room with good basic plumbing and windows that opened. I liked the availability of staff who asked if we needed anything."

Our room was next to the restaurant where there was noisy off-key karaoke (well really just yelling) on a couple of nights, making me have to shut my windows. I do not like to use AC (especially when temperatures never went above 28C) so it was a disappointment to have to close windows because of noise. I didn’t like the coffee in the room.
