"This hotel felt like a very traditional Thai accommodation. Beautiful wood working, large rooms, peaceful setting. All the staff were incredibly friendly. It took us a couple days to really get a feel for Chiang Mia, and this hotel fit in perfectly."

"Pingvaman hotel is excellent.  Google rates it 4star and I agree. We had a premium room with a balcony overlooking the pool, which was nice and worth the small upgrade cost. The room was big, we had a bath tub and shower, good hot water, comfortable bed, safe for your passports, daily maid service provides bottled water, electric kettle to make tea.  This is Thailand: don't drink the tap water,  don't flush the tp. Wifi is strong in the room, we had an in room router, but it kept disconnecting us everytime we left. Breakfast is excellent with a good buffet selection that changed slightly every day and an omelet station. Hotel location inside the old city is walkable to many sights, very convenient with laundry, massage, pharmacy and 7-11 store all very close. I highly recommend Pingvaman for your stay in Chiang Mai."

"The hotel is beautiful! Our room as big, comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and supportive; we booked our airport transportation trough the hotel and everything went well. Great location, in the middle of a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and bars. We wish we had planned to spend more time at the hotel to enjoy the pool!"

"Pingviman is perfectly located in Old town Chiang Mai, walking distance to Wu Lai walking market and Sunday street market- and surrounded by copious temples, restaurants and shops. And you’d think that would mean it’s noisy- but it’s the complete opposite. It’s an oasis amongst the chaos. We loved the breakfast buffet, attentive staff, generous room with spa and complimentary drinks- it was just brilliant."

"Breakfast was pleasant, fair amount to choose from. The room was amazingly decorated in old traditional Thai style which gave it a very authentic feel. Pool in shade most of the day so didn’t use as much as I could have. Staff very helpful and friendly."
