"Amazon Antique is a lovely boutique hotel in Selçuk, just a short walk from the St. John the Baptist site—perfect for exploring the area before heading to Ephesus. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. The courtyard filled with orange trees gives the place a charming, almost storybook feel. Breakfast was decent and enough to start the day right. It’s not a luxury stay, but for a budget-friendly stopover, it delivers exactly what you need: comfort, character, and warm hospitality. Definitely a good option for a day in Ephesus."

"Excellent location, only a few hundred meters from St John's Basilica. Excellent breakfast. It's family run and much of the food served at breakfast is grown/made right there. It's in a 150 year old home. The rooms are small but functional."

"No problems from the hotel As for the taxi I took to Ephesus, I was charged 450 lira, which was 3x the price of a ride you can request from Bitaksi, the local rideshare app. My mistake was not asking for the price ahead of time."

"The size of the room was good, everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, aircon worked well and there was a balcony to the back side. With the windows and doors closed, it wasn't too loud, however I use to wear earplugs anyway when staying in hotels. The breakfast buffet was nothing special, but sufficient. There are countless small shops, eateries and a supermarket right around the hotel and it's only a few minutes walk to the beach promenade. The value for the money was really good and I ended up staying four days instead of the one planned, because the town and the surroundings were so pleasantly nice and laid back."
