"I wasn’t expecting much since it’s a “hostel” but our double room with private bathroom was nice and had everything we needed. Fridge. Elevator. Paid laundry if you want it."

"Very friendly staff and clean facilities. I particularly liked the ample storage space in the showers and the lockers in the shared rooms. The location of the hostel was also great, with many restaurants and bars nearby."

"Wifi was very slow in the room (I stayed on the 2nd floor). Instagram posts would many, many seconds to load (modern day problems right). Google searches sometimes also would not go through."

"Bed are great, with privacy curtain. The common area is comfortable and good to meet other travelers. It has a small kitchen too. The staff are Japanese-level kind and attentive."

"The wifi is not great. The speed in the room was around 0.2 Mbps. The wifi in the common are was better though. The reception is not 24h. Towels are available for rent."

"The slipper tub in the bedroom, not squeezed into a bathroom. It was luxurious. I wanted to try one of those for many years and it was so much more comfortable than a regular bathtub. It was the first bath I have looked forward to since I finished Walking the Camino de Santiago across northern Spain more than 8 years ago. The pharmacy in town sells bath salts. Sorry, but I have forgotten the name of the woman who runs the place. She's very sweet and enthusiastic and will bring you fresh fruit and snacks everyday. The room size was spacious and there was plenty of hot water for a shower, with good water pressure and the bed was just soft enough to be able to sleep on my side without pain. Just be aware that some of the rooms have a bed like mine was and other rooms have extremely firm mattresses. So if that's important to you, one way or the other, communicate with her ahead of time and make sure the room/mattress that you need is available."

The ocean view from the bedroom window is great; it’s just too bad that it rained the whole time during our stay. "Booked the place as it’s just a 10min walk to zepp new taipei, which is the main purpose of my trip. Pretty affordable place and the staff are wonderful. The ladies in the front desk are super nice and helpful. The room had everything I needed for a brief stay. There’s two 7-11s nearby. No train station nearby but the bus stops are super close."

"We liked the location of the hotel which is just 5 mins walk from Banqiao train station ( Tip: make sure to take the Wenhua rd exit It also has elevator access perfect when you have luggage with you). Even though it was drizzling we were able to avoid getting drenched as it has a covered path to the hotel. There is also park just across the hotel which makes a perfect chance to stroll or just sit and have some quiet time. Buses also stop in front of the hotel. Rooms is big. The receptionist is very friendly."
