"The host was very friendly and welcoming. When I was there, he gave us some very sweet and juicy locally grown pomelos. The rooms were well-ventilated, and the hostel was clean overall. The bathroom was especially clean. Accommodation options in Puli are limited, hence such a high quality and reasonably priced hostel was a genuine surprise."
"I found the door codes confusing. I had difficulty unlocking the door more than once. It's also located in a quieter part of town, about 10 minutes' walk from the nearest bus stop, though there are many regular services to the surrounding region. There were also limited food options in the immediate area, with most eateries being along the main boulevard."
"Self-check in, but I ended up meeting the owner, who was super nice. Front door is a little tricky, follow exactly the instructions that are sent. Facilities are immaculate, eateries and convenience stores within 5-10 minutes walk, wifi worked great, and the owner gave me some local tips."

"The owner of the hostel speaks english fluently. Also he is super kind and friendly, that you would feel coming back to your hometown. So far this hostel is literally the best one I have ever stayed in Taiwan. Never miss the chance to stay in this small, wonderful and peaceful town. This hostel would give you more delighted experience."

"I really really liked this hostel. I stayed there for almost two weeks while I was visiting friends in the city. The host is super nice and very caring. He even got me some homemade cake for the holiday. Also he has good recommendations on where to go. Big recommendation!"

"We were originally looking for a place to stay in Chishang, but everything there was fully booked because of a big local event. Luckily, we found this Airbnb nearby — and it turned out to be way beyond our expectations! The area sits along the beautiful Taitung Longitudinal Valley. While Chishang is the most famous town, Gaoliao offers the same stunning scenery but with fewer crowds. Route 193, which connects these small towns, is one of the most beautiful drives in Taiwan. This Airbnb is truly a hidden gem — clean, cozy, and full of a warm, family vibe. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We had such a lovely stay. Highly recommend, and thank you again!"

"This is such a lovely place to stay. If you have the chance, do not hesitate to book it. The hotel is new and decorated with great taste and eye for detail. Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is delicious and generous with fresh fruits. The owner and staff were so kind and helpful to us, our kids got to see the animals they keep on the premises which they loved! It is located in a more quiet area around Sun Moon Lake which was great for us, we found some very good restaurants nearby and the area is very easy to drive around."

"Super clean, really nice staff, very friendly and accommodating (they held our bags for us in the morning and let us charge our phones after check out in the front lobby). Bath tub and shower were really nice too, very spacious! And the balcony was cute. Hotel is very close to the lake side pier so was good for a walk after dinner. Lots of bike rental shops in the area and really close to the tourist shuttle stop for Shuishe Visitor Center. Note that the front desk closes at 18:00 so it’s important to be there before it closes."
