"The hall on the second floor is getting worse. It was much better a few years ago. The fridge doesn't work now. There is no drinking water on the floors anymore. Toilet so smelly and dirty (as usual). It's hight humidity in the room, it definitely needs more ventilation."

"Good location, clean, and good value for money. All beds have curtains. It's a little weird to walk through a storefront to get to the accommodation & showers, but the staff are clearly used to it and it even gave an extra level of security to the place. Drinking water provided downstairs (warm & hot only, no cups) and fridge upstairs near rooms. The common space was simple but I was glad to have it. It's nothing fancy but for the money this place was fine."

"My bed wasn't uncomfortable as such, but it was definitely missing one of the wooden supports that run under the mattress board so it felt a bit unstable and was very very noisy whenever ai needed to move in the night. I noticed the bed above mine was missing a support, too. A roommate asked for the aircon to be switched on so someone came up with the control... I know she was understood as she Taiwanese but - I don't know if it was user error or a problem with the AC - it funcioned as a weak fan only and did not reduce the temperature at all."

"Cheapest hostel in Taiwan. Close to night market and walking distance to train station where you can get the bus to Alishan.township ( Note you need to stop at Shizhao/Shizhou ) if you want the best hiking trail and views)The staff speak English well"

"The shower was hot, gels and shampoo too, WiFi worked, there are places to relax, the room is air conditioned, everything is fine."

"Hostel is actually managed by the florists, entry is through the flower shop. Decent hostel but lacks social atmosphere. Very close to night market, only 10 mins by foot. There are eateries closeby, including eel noodles. Staff are friendly and helpful. Train station is 20 mins walk away."

"Sockets are not well placed for all beds. Mine was alright, but other beds may be a bit problematic."

"Good location. You'll see it's above a flower shop. Overall good value for money. There's hot/cold water available. If you're in a top bunk they'll place a structure with some curtains. No kitchen. I like more comfortable showers but can't complain. Staff keeps minimum contact at check-in."

"Great location. Close to lively squares, especially at the weekend where groups sing and hold events. The place itself has a lot of common areas to sit, eat, read, and relax. Staff very friendly and welcoming."

"The common areas could have done with a thorough clean, if I'm honest, but even so, it's not a game changer for me. Good value."
