"it's walking distance from hualien train station (10mins) and 15mins walk to city center.. the hotel staff is amazing, always ready to help and always cheerful. rooms are clean as well as the toilet"

The staff was really friendly and helpful, as I forgot something in the hostel and they arranged a shipment very quickly. "I loved everything about this hostel. Literally no complaints. The dorms are so spacious, and you have a little shelf, hook with hangers, and curtains that give complete privacy in the bed. I also loved that there was a big window so you get lots of natural light. The women’s dorm also had a full length mirror and a balcony! The beds are a bit firm but I don’t mind that- just FYI. Bathrooms are extremely clean with great shower pressure. The common area and kitchen were excellent. Many places to lounge and the kitchen was well equipped. One of the staff- Sam was especially kind and helpful. He gave me many recommendations for restaurants in the area and was always happy to greet me. I rented a bicycle and was able to keep it inside at night which was good for my peace of mind. I will definitely come back here when I come back to Hualien."

"I got lucky. I had the best bed and very few neighbors during my 4 night stay. Blanket is warm. Showers are hot with high volumetric flowrate. Ive visited over 50 hostels and this is one of the best. 11/10 !!!"
