"The showers were old and YMCA scary but it did its job. I travel a lot and this was the latest check-in at 4pm. So I dropped off my bags at 3pm and asked and clerk said no earlier than 4pm. Fair enough, but then the next day I say guests checking in well before 4pm?! Consistently matters."

"Amazing experience at We Come Hostel! Spacious common areas, fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely balcony with a great view. Super close to Ningxia Night Market and surrounded by plenty of cafés and restaurants. Great location and vibe – totally worth it!"

"This is a great hostel with a really nice common area and helpful staff. I saw extremely varying prices for it depending on the night of my stay, but I stayed on a night when it cost US$20, which I thought was a really good price. I also really appreciated that it was easily walkable from Taipei Main Station."
"The shower stalls were kind of awkward because there wasn't really anywhere to dry off without going out into a co-ed area. So kind of a damp experience even after the shower was over. Also, be aware, they only provide a hand towel; bath towels cost extra."

"It is a quite and minimalistic and peaceful place, very clean and well located to discover Taipei. I'm really happy we stayed there as it was very near the Airport shuttle train and metro stations. It's fairly priced and does the job if you want to have a rest."

"Staff was so helpful and ensuring we got dinner at restaurants. The day of departure we were giving a ride to the train station. The hosts speak very little English but was overcome with Apps. Area was quiet and near visitor centre and the jump off point of the paragliding. Great breakfasts; one at b&b abd one packed at day of departure."

"Japanese Quad room: I hardly ever give a 10 rating but this place really deserves it. It was the nicest accommodation out of 10 different properties where I stayed this time in Taiwan. The room is cozy, bright, beautiful with a peaceful energy. There are 9 windows in the room ! The Tatami bedroom was a bliss with very comfortable mattresses. The breakfast was delicious and was presented in a beautiful way. The host family was very friendly, kind and interesting. The house is located in a beautiful , natural and quiet surrounding. The garden felt very comfortable and the sound of frogs and crickets in the evening created a soothing soundtrack."
"We were originally looking for a place to stay in Chishang, but everything there was fully booked because of a big local event. Luckily, we found this Airbnb nearby — and it turned out to be way beyond our expectations! The area sits along the beautiful Taitung Longitudinal Valley. While Chishang is the most famous town, Gaoliao offers the same stunning scenery but with fewer crowds. Route 193, which connects these small towns, is one of the most beautiful drives in Taiwan. This Airbnb is truly a hidden gem — clean, cozy, and full of a warm, family vibe. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We had such a lovely stay. Highly recommend, and thank you again!"
