"The guesthouse is well located in the historic district of Khiva. The staff is very friendly and the accommodation is easy to find. The bed is firm, like in most of Uzbekistan, and the breakfast was great."

"Clean and cozy rooms. The guest house is inside the old town - Khiva. You don’t have to walk a lot to reach the attractions. Nice breakfast. Helpful and welcoming host and his family members."

"Breakfast was a beautifully presented feast including egg, sliced meat, cheese, salad, fruits, cakes, etc. The location inside Khiva walls was quiet and peaceful as well as being just a few steps from the famous, ancient buildings used for those travelling the Silk Road."

"Within old city wall I min walk to one of the minaret Restaurant in front of hotel Very kind staff- family run business. Typical uzbek style floor seating breakfast ( more of a continental menu ) No shoes inside the hotel ( which i really like)"

"The location - within the walls of the old city. The hotel is located in a quiet street, so nothing disturbs your sleep. Breakfast is served in the traditional way, you sit on the floor together with other guests."

"Doppi guest house has a very good location inside Old Khiva Walls in a quiet street, but very close to all tourist attractions. Restaurants and s small shop are nearby. Owners keep property very clean. Breakfast prepared by owners is big and offers a good variety of different foods. Accommodation offers transport from Urgench airport and from/to other locations, which is very convenient, although transport is a bit pricy."

"Bed feels hard and may be difficult to sleep, if you are not used to hard mattress. You can hear every conversation from the neighboring room (poor insulation). Although bathroom is clean, there is a bad smell that comes from sink holes, so there should be something done to improve this, if possible."

"Its so conveniently located inside the Quila, all the attractions are within walking distance. The room was specious ,clean. The hosts are great. They offered us extended checkout time for free as our Train was at 2:30 pm, & it was quite hot outside. nearby restaurant is also great & there is also a provision store nearby. "Fun fact is I'm technically reviewing the hotel next to them since I was told at one point they overbooked this hotel and they would place me at a similar value hotel next door but in reality it felt is the same owner/company. The one I stayed in did look like the "cheaper" version of the two and the room I had booked looked a bit nicer than the hotel I was placed in but its not like it was a horrible downgrade just noticeable enough. I liked the location since is fairly walkable to the old town while also not being in the old town itself plus is next to a really good restaurant around the corner and not far from the train station. The staff was friendly though and since all our stay was good, the small downgrade was not enough to sour the experience at all."
