"Shafran B&B won our hearts and was our favorite stay throughout our month-long trip. I think we were starting to get a little fatigued/sick near the end of our trip, and it was the perfect place to rest. The entire house is a work of art and we were fortunate to have breakfast in his house's GORGEOUS dining room (he lives in a separate building on the same block). The house itself is super spacious accommodates 2 room listings. No one booked the other listing when we were there so we had the whole house to ourselves, but honestly it's so spacious it wouldn't have mattered. There is a washer you can use for free, and a full sized fridge/kitchen which was perfect for storing all our market purchases! Shafran himself is super friendly and will give you tons of great recommendations! AC was strong, water pressure was great, no issues with hot/cold water. Note that the bathrooms are not attached to the rooms."

"Very friendly host that went above and beyond for us. Delicious breakfast that varied every day in a beautiful handcrafted room that the host did him self. We had access to a washing machine that we could use for free!! This was amazing for us in the middle of our trip. Most hotels were charging a set price for washing each item of clothing. I saw some comments that the house was warm, but let me just reassure you that the air condition in the sleeping room works really well, even in the very warm summer season. The rest of the house gets a bit warm but that didnt bother us."

"Extremely caring hosts, a totally new house with excellent facilities, a full kitchen (if you ever need one in the land of amazing cheap food), and good location close to Old town Breakfast is freshly cooked every day, way too big for us, and delicious. On some mornings the hosts invited us over to their house, and we dined like emirs, surrounded by hand painted wall decorations, done by the hosts ' son. Wifi perfect- one evening I had a 2 hour meeting and the line was excellent throughout. water fountain available, no plastic garbage! Cannot recommend enough (tip: close to the house there is. small market which sells incredible home made kefir, in jars you are expected to return, like in good old days)."

"I liked the location. It was quiet. The house was huge and I was by myself. I loved the washing machine. Communication was good and regular. Hot water was strong and plentiful. The house was warm and there was a good heating system."

"This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in during our two-week trip in Uzbekistan. It is clean and quiet; everything is convenient, making it feel as if you are at home. We have to say that the decoration of the house is an elegant work of art, which was created by Mr. Sharif. The owner of this house is his son. Mr. Sharif also invited us to visit his own house, which was like a museum to us. The garden of his house is full of flowers and some herbs, where you can feel a lovely attitude to life. Last but not least, Mr. Sharif is warm-hearted and was very patient in communicating with us, even though we speak different languages🙂"

Huge room, best possible bed, fantastic breakfast, calm centrally located street in a nice neighbourhood but best of all was Sharif and his big family, so warm, welcoming and helpful. They could not show a better hostmanship. One of the nicest places we have stayed at ever - in the world."
