Villas in Spain

"Beautiful house with really good facilities at spectacular location! Everything you need is there, and if it isn't, the host was very responsive and arranged it for us! It was wonderful sipping my morning coffee while watching the beautiful view, taking a dip in the sea and relax in the sun. The house remains cool even in warm days, we didn't need the airco (in May)."

Because of its beautiful location by the sea, the house is a 5 minute walk over a small rocky path and several stairs to get there from the (paid) parking. If you are not sure footed this may be a challenge. That's about the only downside to this place.

"It was in the best location! Loved the area. And loved staying in an old home in Visby. The sunset was amazing! And loved our entire stay."

I thought they could have offered a better choice for breakfast. It’s a small hotel with limited kitchen space but a self serve area for juices, fruit, bread/toast, yogurts etc alongside the set menu for main course breakfast shouldn’t be too difficult

"Barbara is a great host, very helpful and friendly. The house is beautiful, dining area amazing, the room we stayed in was very nice with separate living room and a bedroom. The bathroom was big and clean. They also provide a breakfast with lots of choices Thank you Barbara and Breda for your hospitality, it was a joy to meet you both"

"The villas are on private property just off the beach road that divides the property to peaceful lush gardens with villas and the beach side with pool, bar, outdoor shower and beach area. Villa has a spacious teracce that is perfect spot for relaxing and wildlife watching - birds, iguanas, parrots, butterflies, collibries - better than the Gilpin trail! :) Each villa has own host that met us at our arrival. She helped us to settle, showed us the house and next day she cooked the lunch for us as per our wish - the local cuisine - callaloo, cou cou and mahi mahi and it was delicious."

That we could not stay longer! :) And the fans above the bed were little fast, not able to slow them down.

Location was a little isolated with limited facilities within walking distance.

"It's a really lovely place. Not so close to the main so you'd have to ask the owner to get help with a taxi. Host lives downstairs so if you need something someone is already there. It's design is spectacular."

Nothing about the place I didn't like.

Toilets can run a pump if not fully closed (off and on every few minutes. Also, sometimes neighbors being close means loud nights past midnight (3 am).

"Hi there was no breakfast. I think a toaster and a kettle would have helped greatly, gas use to go out at 11pm, so no cooking could be done in self catering apartment. mirco wave is ok. but like to cook. everything was great near few shops no problems there. The only problem was the host would just go into our rooms when we were not there, which was not right, and would turn off the AC, we left it on so it would be cool when we got back from our outing. Privacy was compermised."

"Spectacular view! Beautiful surroundings! If you like to explore, location is excellent, you can walk to Black Lake and Zminje Lake easily. Ask host how to get there before coming to easily find the place. Kitchen well equipped. Center of Zabljak only 5-10 min away by car, so you are close but not in the middle of crowded town which was exactly what we wanted."

Not something that host can directly control, but keep in mind that your peace and quiet depends on who stays next door because we had a couple with two small children as neighbours, so it wasnt peace and quiet anymore, since there was no railing preventing kids to spend some time on our terrace too, cabins are veeery close to each other.

"Een heerlijke plek 15 minuten rijdend vanaf het centrum van Zlatibor. Het huisje was schoon en ruim. Naast het huisje een mooi zwembad. De eigenaar was fantastisch aardig."

Helaas geen airconditioning. Dus in de zomer vrij warm.

Perfect

"Very spacious, very private. It was comfortable. We were kindly met at San Marino bus station and taken to the villa. Also kindly taken to the supermarket first to buy some food as the villa is very isolated. Taxi was recommended to us, and was reliable and comfortable. The area was amazing to visit. Information was sent to us to answer our questions. Prompt response."

The villa was further away from the main area of San Marino than expected. As we did not have a car, we were reliant on a taxi, which worked out very expensive. There were a few items in the sink which looked as if intended to be washed up but forgotten. We struggled with sorting out the TV and also finding the right adapter for our chargers and could not find a familiar kettle. These were little things but frustrating after a long journey. It would have been helpful to have an information booklet to explain some of these things so we did not have to keep asking our host.

"Absolutely made our time in the city. It's an incredible space. Cozy beds, gardens, kitchen coffee, suggestions to where to go in the city, cozy bathroom, washer, art, speaker, bikes, EVERTHING you could want. Did i mention it's INCREDIBLE. Book it."
