"Our second stay at Mer can story. Fabulous location. Nice spacious rooms, small kitchen area so we could prepare breakfast and eat on our balcony. The staff are kind and helpful. During local power cut this property had a generator. We will choose this hotel again"

"Clean and safe stay! I didn’t ever feel uncomfortable walking to my destinations. Staff were amazing and the recommended drive was impeccable. Nothing fancy but all needed amenities existed, everything was clean and comfortable, great for 1, would be great for two….. anymore would be a lot! The host was responsive and accommodated all my questions and needs. Will 100% be back!! Thanks for the great trip!"

There were many cars passing from that road making some noise. But I can't complain since the building is located in a Busy road.

"Overall, a really nice stay and a good value for the location. Being connected to the hostel next door was surprisingly convenient. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and luggage storage was easy. The room felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Plenty of space, and both the bed and couch were very comfortable. The staff was also incredibly friendly."

The in-room amenities were a bit sparse compared to what I expected. The WiFi was honestly very poor, which is a drawback for a place that markets itself to a coworking crowd. Also, I was charged 50% to add an extra guest despite it being a full apartment. I paid it without issue, but if I’d booked for two guests from the start, the price difference would have been negligible, if anything, so that policy felt a little off.

No cleaning service, no mosquito screens on the windows

"The location is close to the subway and JR train, an near a supermarket. We stayed for 5 nights and someone came to clean the bathrooms and living room area mid-way through our stay which was fantastic. But best of all, the owner Mamo-san was exceptional. My brother’s baby who was traveling with us assisted them to the clinic and even finding medicine. Even after we checked out and found we left something, he was willing to have it shipped to us. He went above and beyond. I was going to give a perfect score just for the place itself but if i could give more for the service, I would!"

"Good location near the river and within walking to most locations we wanted to see, but it did take a walk of about 20 minutes to key sites and food halls (which we did not mind at all). The building was nice and check in went smoothly. There were nearby markets so getting breakfast foods and keeping them in the kitchen was easy. It had a clothes washing machine in the unit, which was convenient."

The room furniture was just OK. It wasn't overly comfortable in the shared space of our two-bedroom apartment. The connection of the kitchen to the rest of the apartment was strange. The kitchen was not sealed off from the outside and had a lockable door between it and the rest of the apartment that we needed to keep locked to keep it closed so the AC didn't leak out.

There are many great little coffee bars in the areas, best to just go out and get breakfast rather than pre-ordering it... I did not see a single person, so if you looking for casual chats this is not the place.

The cleanliness of the apartment itself was so bad. The sheets weren’t clean, the pillows didn’t have covers, the kitchen top was filled with spilled oil, the couch was half broken, there were mosquitoes everywhere and generally the entire place was very difficult to find comfy

"I enjoy staying here for weekend escapes from Muscat. Very good value and wonderfully situated for excellent restaurants. Sur Sea Restaurant (about 100m away) serves some of the best South Asian food I’ve tasted. Highly recommended."

Swimming pool appeared to be closed at all times despite no warning.

The road leading to this accommodation is not asphalt, so driving or walking can be challenging.

"Great option for a last minute booking to spend a night in Narva. Clean kitchen space with everything needed. Grocery store in the same building. Close to both train and bus stops. Ok beds."

Shared bathroom space is not very comfortable, missed that as was booking in a hurry.

"Location: it is in a majestic place, with private (yet small) lagoon. The staff were wonderful. The accommodation was reasonably priced. Easy to find."

Location: far away from major attractions, bad road on the route. No shops around. Credit card payment wasn’t working at the time of checkout. Food and drinks are extremely expensive and too simple (no realistic alternatives since it is in the middle of nowhere; bottle of water 3.5 times more expensive then in the town and 1.75 times more expensive than in the airport). No a/c. No windows in the room. Quite rustic. Hordes of mosquitoes. Very strict check out time at 10:00am.

"The flat had gorgeous views of the Adriatic Sea from the balcony, what a scene to wake up to! The flat was very clean, the water pressure was strong and the bed was comfortable! The caretaker was such a lovely lady and even gave us a parting gift of homemade walnut liqueur!!"

Wish it was closer to the city center

"Breakfast was more than we expected. The range of cereals, fruit, juices, teas, bread for toast, milk etc was more than we anticipated. The fruit was wonderfully fresh and delicious. There was certainly plenty for all tastes. the location of the breakfast food was easy to access, with a great choice of where to sit and eat both under cover outside or within the dining room."

Corridor a little bit noisy

"Beautiful view and great access to the beach. The apartment is on the middle floor of 3. Therefore, 2nd floor end unit. All the amenities you need to cook any type of meal."

The parking situation isn’t ideal as they closed the lot without warning to add more dirt so had to park further down the street. I don’t mind walking so it wasn’t a problem for me but if you have mobility issues this isn’t the best place for you as there are a lot of hills and some stairs. You can however get around without using the stairs just a bit further.
