"Dudy was such a pleasure to stay with and I highly recommend booking with him. He graciously let me drop off my belongings early and pick them up after checkout so that I had extra time to explore the city. The room was spacious and I felt extremely comfortable the entire time. And what a beautiful garden! We had some great conversations about the plants that I was seeing and about his recommendations for the best things to do in the city. I was glad that I took his advice. Thank you so much for hosting me and making my trip wonderful!"

"This is an excellent small guesthouse and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet and Bahir Dar is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa. The hosts, Ashenafi and Habtamu, showed us around and made us feel very welcome."

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

"Beautiful, clean and an amazing place to stay which is well worth the price. The property is located in the middle of the island, close to shops, restaurants and bakeries. Mrs. St. Rose is warm and courteous and answered all my questions, she even gave me a tour of the many fruit trees that she has on property. In speaking with her, I found out that there is a 2 bedroom apartment on the premises as well and I was allowed to see it. Now this apartment is stunning, so huge that it can fit at least 8ppl and it has air-conditioning. The property also has a generator which is a plus, this is nice to know for my next trip with my family. I am extremely glad that I did my research and found this place. It is definitely a 10 out of 10."

I struggled to get hot water in the shower for a while . The road nearby is quiet which is good for sleeping but not so good for public transport .

"Punctual staff, caring and helpful, nice garden not far from train station and the lake."

All was okay.

"Everything was so clean, that was very nice. Additionally we got little small shampoo and other hygiene stuff in a little bag, that was cute. The room also was air-conditioned, which is a must in a country like Uzbekistan. The Wi-Fi was good enough as well. I am surprised that the hotel is so cheap relatively to other ones out there."

"The host and her granddaughter who helped with my stay were amazing. The host picked me up in the city and brought me to St Marys and again to the airport in the morning. The traffic was terrible leaving Quito, I felt sorry for the host dealing with it. I was a little concerned that the dogs and other guests might continue making noise throughout the night but that wasn't the case. You are certainly aware of your proximity to the airport as you can hear planes over head. The 'village' is spotlessly clean and well maintained."

I wish there gad been an option to pay with credit card, but I get it.

The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.

"中式早餐以稀飯為主食，另有吐司果醬可以選擇，豐富配菜及紅烏龍茶飲、鮮奶，吃到飽。 民宿最棒的就是提供洗衣機、烘乾機，讓出外多天的旅人可以清洗一些髒衣服，超方便的、大推；房間面窗可看到花東縱谷美景，距離鹿野高台車程10分鐘很近，地點絕佳，民宿還免費出借腳踏車可以漫遊鹿野，可惜這次來不及使用到。 入住前最擔心的吃飯問題，民宿附近有草仔粿、紅豆餅(下午)，晚餐可以吃附近路口轉彎處的猛爸爸快炒，或到鹿野車站旁吃合菜，都不踩雷、好吃。"

The bed was a little small.for.the two of us.

"Jay being very hospitable!!!! If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay with no frills this is the place!! Very clean. Beach and bar at the end of the street."
