"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

Le logement est très bien situé pour découvrir l’île et surtout Quel bonheur de prendre son café avec une vue aussi magnifique… Merci à Karl et Wanda !"

"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

The room was very nice with vintage furniture that has this wonderful specific scent of a vintage furniture. Wonderfully decorated, the room and the kitchen create very warm feeling. Anna Christina was even willing to help us with the breakfast and charged very generously for it. And her husband helped me with the luggage because I damaged my back recently. Thank you so much for your help and hospitality!"

The food was okay but could have been nicer. Bring your mosquito repellent!

There was a pee smell. Probably, from a prior guest. However, the place seemed very clean besides the smell.

Ich persönlich bin kein Freund von Gemeinschaftsbad und -küche (war aber unmissverständlich so deklariert ;-) ).

"#1 - Maryann is the BEST! Her rooms are clean and the place is so welcoming. It is located up in the mountains, so the nights are cool. It’s also right on a bus route so you can get anywhere on the island by bus. She gave me great ideas and I went to most of the places she suggested. I look forward to returning."

No screens on the windows

"Very comfortable, spacious, and private. Location was safe, gated, and welcoming. Sitting areas, balcony, and kitchen were available. The hosts were just simply AMAZING. We so enjoyed spending time with them and conversing as we were able. Issa welcomed us with a big smile and much kindness. They were also very helpful to us concerning food for our brief stay. We cannot recommend Issa’s House more highly. We loved it, and them."
