Unfortunately, they cannot have a shower in the dome.. that was the only inconvenience!

"I had such a great stay at Lac Castor! My hut was right on the lake and was well stocked with firewood and cooking utensils. It was a little more off-grid than I expected. It seems as though the huts lighting works from solar power only so the lights did start to cut out in the evening, there isn't much/any cell service and there weren't outlets to be able to charge my phone. The communal toilets however did have working outlets that could be used. But I would 100% stay here again! The site is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Being able to take a canoe out onto the lake at sunset was just magic! And the staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend staying here!"

It would be nice to have more power to the huts, but I was very happy with it nonetheless.

"Very comfortable! Beautiful setting for sitting outside with a coffee to wind up or beer to wind down your day. Loved the extra blankets and warm clothes provided, nice touch!"

"New, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. Quiet in a safe district. 15 min in the bus number 10 or 12 to the city center. Alice, the owner who lives there, is very nice and helpful. She booked a taxi for us and woke up at 5.30a.m. to be sure that the taxi arrived. Excellent quality for a good price."

It is number 1 on the intercom when you arrive there. it is not written Conforto.

The dirt behind the hut. There were empty bottles and other dirt that they could have been cleaned.

"The host are super nice and really helpful. They recommended some tours in the area and a restaurant in town. The property was affected by the floods a few months ago so it was muddy when we went. The cabin were super clean and the beds confortable. Overall, we quite enjoyed the experience. The property is on a monkey trail so we saw monkeys both days we were there. Be ready to be woken up at 5.30-6am by howling monkeys, but your can spend hours watching them."

Make sure to bring mosquito spay since they are quite a few after sunset. No wifi on property and network isn’t steady, you can go to a restaurant in town of you need it.

"Tolles Erlebnis, mega Sonnenaufgang. Tatsächlich bequemer als erwartet. Der Bäcker um Frühstück zu besorgen ist nur 1 Minute entfernt."

Die Ablage am Kopfende war nicht sauber ( tote Fliegen , Sand) , eine der LED Kerzen funktionierte nicht. Wir hatten uns zum Glück eine Lichterkette mitgebracht. Das sollte bei dem Preis doch schon der Fall sein.
