Estuvimos 4 noches cómo en casa, limpieza diaria además con gimnasio en el edificio y destacar la amabilidad de la chica de recepción, nos dejó salir más tarde al tener bus nocturno. Es una pena que no vayan los turistas !!!"

The room was spacious and it was nice to have access to the kitchen and common area. The bathroom is shared but it was never an issue. The sauna was in a separate building but so nice at the end of a day. The breakfast is served at the main cafe in town - it's plentiful and tasty, just keep in mind that you either need to drive there or arrange the shuttle."

Would be be nice to have extra towels for the sauna.

"Our second stay at Mer can story. Fabulous location. Nice spacious rooms, small kitchen area so we could prepare breakfast and eat on our balcony. The staff are kind and helpful. During local power cut this property had a generator. We will choose this hotel again"

"Beautiful original palace from 19th Century, surrounded by an old park and overlooking the lake. The views are stunning. Very good breakfast and delicious food at the restaurant. We also like an allowance for the Aqua Park. Getting there was easy and the hotel has a spacious parking lot."

I'd expect to have a small tea / coffee station at the room.

"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

The bed was hard. Had to provide basics like dish soap, toilet paper….

The dryer was a little loud, so someone may want to take a look at that.

Location: far away from major attractions, bad road on the route. No shops around. Credit card payment wasn’t working at the time of checkout. Food and drinks are extremely expensive and too simple (no realistic alternatives since it is in the middle of nowhere; bottle of water 3.5 times more expensive then in the town and 1.75 times more expensive than in the airport). No a/c. No windows in the room. Quite rustic. Hordes of mosquitoes. Very strict check out time at 10:00am.

"Breakfast was more than we expected. The range of cereals, fruit, juices, teas, bread for toast, milk etc was more than we anticipated. The fruit was wonderfully fresh and delicious. There was certainly plenty for all tastes. the location of the breakfast food was easy to access, with a great choice of where to sit and eat both under cover outside or within the dining room."

Could not fault anything.

"Room was great and spacious. We very much loved the bed, kitchen, bathroom, pool, and BBQ. We felt like we had almost our own private boutique suite and for most of the time exclusive use of pool, pool deck, upper balcony, and BBQ as others were off touring about. Met Steve the owner who was super friendly, helpful, shared some extras, and would highly recommend Beachwalk Residences."

not the properties fault but there was a party across the street that went til 11:00 or 11:30. this would have been fine except they kept the incredibly loud music playing until 1:30 in the morning as they cleaned up.
