Apartments in Aruba

"Lovely views, nice kitchen and modern furnishings."

Unfortunately we lost electrical power due to a wind storm for several hours though this was regional and not the fault of the cabin.

"Loved our host. Went above and beyond for us. She was great with our kids. Helped with a hire car and even dropped around some food."

Very minor but would be nice to have hot water from the tap in the sink to wash dishes. We could get hot water from the shower or put the kettle on to do dishes with.

"It was our home away from Home. Beautiful property and the host was an angel! She helped every way she possible!"

The only downside was that taxi’s had trouble finding the location because it’s hard to see the palm view sign at night. So a lot of times drivers would drive past.

"The location is great, especially for young people. The apartment itself is quite old, nicely designed. No view. It is a good choice for a family who wants to cook and stay together."

The shower can be renovated.

"The apartment has everything that we need,like stove and washer. Walkable distance to shops, restaurants and sightseeing areas. Metro is also close by."

the beds had sheets only and the comforter blankets had no duvet covers. it felt uncomfortable to use them without any duvet covers.

"Clean and comfortable. We ended up with a 2 bedroom unit so did not have the apartment relating to the pictures. The communication was good, the place was quite nice and worked well for a quick overnight on our way through."

After we booked the one bedroom apartment and had confirmation for our 4 person family the host messaged to say the apartment was better for 2-3 people and they have a larger 2 bedroom/ 3 bed unit that may work better. I thought that was a nice complimentary gesture until they messaged to say it was going to be double the price. I replied that we would just stay in the original one bedroom (listing says up to 4 people) as our boys were happy to sleep on the hide-a-beds as per the listing description. She then confessed that actually the room we booked was not available, so then offered a much lower price to accommodate us. We still paid more than originally planned however it was later in the day and did not want to start a search over again. The place ended up fine, good value, was clean/ comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We just felt that the host should have been honest upfront rather than seeing if we would pay double first…

"The accommodation was in the flat, which was on the first Floor. It was a private room with AC and TV. You could cook in the kitchen. McDonald's was a one-minute walk away. The public beach is 5 minutes by car. Qidfa beach. The beach is very clean. The landlord is a very friendly and nice person. The flat had no small kids, and it was very calm. Close to Fujairah and Khor Fakkan. You would stay here 1 or more nights."

Nothing. You would need a car if you plan to go here.

No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

"I visited the location before and I like it: quiet and functional"

the keys were not in the keybox as per the instructions which causes stress (I am from China and don't speak Dutch)

"Great location. The resort is huge, it has lots of large trees and shade. Really nice to go for a run or just walk around with your baby."

The staircase gaurd in the townhouse was made of glass that didn't feel secure.

"This is a very quiet, clean and confortable place one bloc from the national hospital. It is even possible to cook with private kitchenette with bridge and sink in the room. Room is fully equipped with tv and sitting space. Very good value."

We would just appreciate to have a bigger bed (120cm)... We already plan to come back. Obrigado barak Antonitu and everyone

"Our family really enjoyed staying at the cabin and looking at the lake across the lake and the mountains."

Would have liked to have instructions on using the washer and dryer. The stovetop sensor kept beeping and needed a fuse reset. Parking was bit challenging on the steep lawn which needed to be mowed.

"Super clean. The hostess (Sizzie) is very knowledgeable, kind and clear. She gave me really good, honest advice for my airport pick up & sightseeing. The property is a good walk from the Falls but doable. More importantly, it is just 1 km from Pick'n'Pay (supermarket) and Nando's (roasted chicken) so that took care of things for me. The room has a fridge and I could use the kitchen (and living room). The TV channels were basic but worked. Really a good room just outside Victoria Falls. I slept really well. No need for AC, just fan. I really liked the place which has a small pool, too."

The place could use a sign outside and some African art decoration inside.

Steep, winding road up from town. Car access only, almost impossible to walk.

"Lovely unit with very good amenities. Beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the birds fly and fish for food while playing in the water."

The walk to the beach is about 3 football fields. Keep this in mind while you are packing for a beach day.
