"Perfectly placed, near the brewery-restaurant and the castle, it offered comfortable, clean and home-like accommodations, right down to a friendly orange kitty, who played with us while we watched the sunset from a comfortable chair in the quiet back yard. Our host was attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!"

"Perfectly located in the small town of Matmata. The room was big with two bedrooms and a lounge. It had a restaurant but didn’t serve alcohol. We could park the car off the road. It was inexpensive so we didn’t expect much, but were pleasantly surprised."

The room was a bit cold (it was January) but the owner went out of his way to help us with everything we needed. There wasn’t much to dislike

"Lovely area, close to a river walk and around 10 minutes walk to the centre of Buncrana. Lidl and Aldi are a 2-minute drive away. The apartment had everything we needed. Very cosy and clean. The host had kindly left us wheaten bread and some milk. A lovely lady ❤️"

Have no complaints.

"Super clean. The hostess (Sizzie) is very knowledgeable, kind and clear. She gave me really good, honest advice for my airport pick up & sightseeing. The property is a good walk from the Falls but doable. More importantly, it is just 1 km from Pick'n'Pay (supermarket) and Nando's (roasted chicken) so that took care of things for me. The room has a fridge and I could use the kitchen (and living room). The TV channels were basic but worked. Really a good room just outside Victoria Falls. I slept really well. No need for AC, just fan. I really liked the place which has a small pool, too."

The place could use a sign outside and some African art decoration inside.

La sig.ra Gina incarna l'ospitalità e l'accoglienza che ogni ospite desidera ricevere; empatica e mai invadente, generosa nel donarsi, attenta e cordiale. Camere, ambienti comuni interni e giardino sono molto curati, la pulizia impeccabile. Io sono vegana e a colazione mi sono sentita più che accolta. "This is a very quiet, clean and confortable place one bloc from the national hospital. It is even possible to cook with private kitchenette with bridge and sink in the room. Room is fully equipped with tv and sitting space. Very good value."

We would just appreciate to have a bigger bed (120cm)... We already plan to come back. Obrigado barak Antonitu and everyone

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . Ps look after Max well we will return ."

Genuine village stay

"Clean and comfortable. We ended up with a 2 bedroom unit so did not have the apartment relating to the pictures. The communication was good, the place was quite nice and worked well for a quick overnight on our way through."

After we booked the one bedroom apartment and had confirmation for our 4 person family the host messaged to say the apartment was better for 2-3 people and they have a larger 2 bedroom/ 3 bed unit that may work better. I thought that was a nice complimentary gesture until they messaged to say it was going to be double the price. I replied that we would just stay in the original one bedroom (listing says up to 4 people) as our boys were happy to sleep on the hide-a-beds as per the listing description. She then confessed that actually the room we booked was not available, so then offered a much lower price to accommodate us. We still paid more than originally planned however it was later in the day and did not want to start a search over again. The place ended up fine, good value, was clean/ comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We just felt that the host should have been honest upfront rather than seeing if we would pay double first…

"Shanti and her family are possibly the kindest, sweeting hosts I have ever met. They cared so much, always pleasant and surprising us with a fresh coconut or a little Sri Lankan dessert treat. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and Shanti and family always eager to clean it for our benefit. The hot shower was wonderful, and the little balcony for morning meditation. With a moto (cheap), everything was easily accessible - beaches in five minutes, Grocery stores and plenty of restaurants. The place felt 100% safe, with a locking gate at night. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you!"

There is a hotel down the street that plays music all night on Sundays. It was not our wonderful hosts' fault, but still annoying.

the bed was kind of uncomfortable, I don't think there was heat as I was cold. The tv was a little small.

"The apartment has great location, view and the interior is simply amazing. We had very nice and cozy atmosphere, everything is clean and functional. The views are spectacular (we caught even a bit of Northern Lights). A great value for money when travelling in Greenland! And the host was super nice, arranged a boat trip for us the next day, taking care of all logistical details."

"Lovely unit with very good amenities. Beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the birds fly and fish for food while playing in the water."

The walk to the beach is about 3 football fields. Keep this in mind while you are packing for a beach day.

the keys were not in the keybox as per the instructions which causes stress (I am from China and don't speak Dutch)

"Excellent for that money. Amazing staff. Lady at the reception helped me to arrange an early-morning moto-taxi to get to the Kinigi office. Great breakfast. Very comfy beds with clean bedding."

No mosquito net in my room.

"La ubicación . muy buena en un punto importante de la ciudad, cerca de la Estación de trenes y Plaza céntrica, y cerca de Varios Mercados de Multiventas. El Departamento con varios ambientes y camas, y todo muy limpio y con ropa de cama muy completa- Ducha Eléctrica y amplio baño, con Papel higiénico y jabón. La Cocina con artefactos electricos en perfectas condiciones, alacena con Vajilla completa, té y Azúcar. Ventanas sólidas y rejas, Ventilador y aire acondicionado en las habitaciones: Tv plasma de grandes dimensiones."

Sin quejas. Todo me pareció muy acorde a la relación Precio - Calidad.
