Une erreur des clé du portail principal alors fallait à chaque entrée devoir frapper pendant de longues minutes le gardien de nuit sachant cela m'a laissé sortir je lui ai dit je revenais tard a mon arrivée je suis resté 45 minutes dehors à frappé grâce au groupe d'échange avec le client j'ai écris la gérante très déranger du soucis ma rassuré qu'elle fait tout son possible pour joindre le gardien celui ci arrivée 30 minutes plutard même pas s'excuser Et aussi avoir plus de chaîne à la télé j'ai été obligé de regarder France 24 durant tout mon séjour

"This was such a perfect room for me. Spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable bed, really nice hot shower. And the location is unbeatable. Right in the heart of Thamel, with everything within a few minutes walk, yet the hotel itself felt hidden and private. The best part though were the kind staff and the hotel manager. Everyone in Nepal so far has been kind and friendly, but they were above and beyond. And the breakfast on the rooftop with the little mini garden all around. That was the top! I would definitely stay there again next time I am in Kathmandu."

"The breakfast was simple but good with fresh local fruit. There’s also coffee and tea, toast and usually eggs. The highlight was the staff! George is a ray of sunshine and the owners had a relative visiting and she was especially welcoming. They were able to book activities for me as well."

I was able to sleep really well but if you are a light sleeper you might hear dogs barking and road noise. That is probably true for most accommodations in Tonga.

"Simples e aconchegante, quarto tamanho médio, frigorífico em ótimas condições, jarra elétrica no quarto, há 6 chás 2 águas, a cama era confortável, macia, lençóis brancos, macio e pareciam bem limpos, toalhas brancas limpas e cheirosas, o quarto parecia limpo, TV em ótimo funcionamento, fácil acesso, fácil contato com administradores, 1km do centro mais ou menos. Casa de banho em bom estado, parecia limpo, com sabonete e tapete a água quente boa."

"The room is clean. Free wifi is provided. They are also running izakaya (Japanese-style bar), you can have dinner in the property and can buy alcoholic beverages from them. Bike, snorkeling gear and floats can be rented. When I stayed at this inn, a girl from the UK was working, some of the workers speak English."

"Perfect location to explore the old town of San Marino. Walking around to the cable car. There was another family staying there so it was a bit awkward with them using the same front door and walking past our room. It meant our bathroom and living area were not as private as they could have been. But as we were mostly out exploring it didn't bother us much. Very friendly hosts who explained everything. We didn't find the aircon despite it listing it had it...."

Parking situation is not ideal, no direct parking at property but you'll be able to drive up and unload/load.

"We loved the location - across the street from St Francois beach. We had a lovely terrace and peek-a-boo view of the ocean. The staff were all very friendly."

Not many busses per day. A car would be helpful but there are excursions the Auberge will book for you and many beautiful walks. No grocery stores nearby.

"Everything was amazing. They kindly offered us to pick us up from the train station. Once we reached the hotel they also offered us a room upgrade free of charge. The room was amazing and the staff made sure to make our experience unforgetable. On our last day in Shangri La they also offered us a late check out and kindly drove us to the train station for our departure. Our overall experience was nothing but amazing. Many thanks!"

"Very strongly recommend: Airbnb is part of a beautiful villa in safe residential neighbourhood. Private parking on the ground of the villa. The studio with the two double beds is huge and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is also very spacious. The hostess and host are extremely kind and very respectful of privacy, etc. Optional breakfast is offered - excellent coffee, fresh croissants or pain au chocolate, etc. You can hear the ocean which is some 200 m further."

We liked absolutely everything. We could list many more things we liked like the swimming pool which is long enough to swim into and warm.

"Accommodation is near the city center, very basic but clean and decent. Clean sheets and towels were available. Very easy to find, it is on the street corner. Free street parking is available on the the street."

We had to call the host by cellular phone while in rooming because no one was at the property at the time of arrival. Luckily host arrived few minutes later. I think it would be better if they used a small locker with code for the key.

"Lovely stay and best breakfast we had in the 8 caribbean countries we visited. They baked us home-made bread and mango jam with an omelette and fruit! So delicious! Slept with the windows open to the sound of the waves. Amazing and lovely owners! We will return if we are ever in Barbados again. THANK YOU!"

Unfortunately there was a power cut during our stay and in the absence of a generator we were left with no light or water for the evening.

Can be a bit noisy due to mountain lift located just few meters from the hotel, which operates till very late, although it is not a big deal if you are not a light sleeper.

"The rooms were clean and comfortable. The apartment is in a beautiful area. It is right on E16 but we didn’t find it overly loud at all. Dennis was wonderful and we would happily stay there again if we ever find ourselves back in the area."

Holiday noise level

"Big room, very good breakfast available from 0700."

Check-in must be done in the hotel nearby. It would have been much better to know that at forehand, before standing at a closed door with al our luggage. Of course there's an option to do it all by some app but I'm still not ready to surrender my whole life to a smartphone.
