"Loved staying in the simple, clean bungalow overlooking the sea, surrounded by bougainvillea and various friendly creatures (iguanas, salamanders, birds, etc.). Coral was SO incredibly responsive and helpful with everything from how to book a special dinner at Heidi's restaurant (incredible view and food!) to giving us a ride out to explore the cool fort. Thanks for a beautiful stay!"

It was really fun meeting people from all over the US in the communal kitchen. But as is to be expected, sound carries at any campground and not everyone is on the same sleep schedule, so bring earplugs!

"Great location after 2 long days of flying. Cutest and chillest orange cat I've ever met. Staff was pleasant and welcoming. Great views from campsite, although very windy."

The light in the camping area was so bright and on all night. Made it hard to sleep since I didnt think I would need to bring an eye mask.

"The possibility to be in a quiet environment and surround by amazing scenery. BBQ place is great, to cook a stake in fire. The homes are spacious and warm inside."

The bathtub was a small one, considering all the extra space they have. Could have put a normal bathtub. Also the sofa was extremely old.

We were not expected despite booking through Booking.com in advance of our arrival.

"The villa setup, the swimming pools (especially for our daughters), being 7 to 10 minutes walk from the beach and the shops, but especially the owners (Mr. & Mrs. Moorghen). They are exceptional hosts and everything in their bungalow is touched with thoughtfulness. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. In essence with a family of 8, the four room villa was ideal and cosy. A home away from home comfy feel."

I asked my daughters. One thing they did not like... Time to go back home. 😛

"Malý rodinný kemp. Majitel příjemný, ochotný. Večer posezení u pivka, kdo chtěl, tak i s večeří. Bazén k dispozici večer i ráno. Naprostý klid a uvolnění. Spali jsme ve svém autě. K snídani vejce, uzeniny, sýr, rajče.. vše domácí a naprosto úžasná švestková marmeláda."

Záchody a sprchy v kabinkách vedle sebe, ale čisté.

"We had a great stay at Moonys! Fernando is an amazing host who made everything possible. He even picked us up or organized transport when we needed it. We immediatly felt more like family than guests. The chalet is a beautiful place: clean and neat, and in the middle of nowhere. It is very quiet and a perfect place to relax."

There's nothing we didnt like. However you should consider transport: if you dont come with your own car, you depend on Fernando and you need to count in money, time and organization for commuting to wherever you wanna go. Taxis might not go all the way up to the chalet because its a dirt road. There's no supermarkets or restaurants close enough to walk to.

"The property was cozy and clean. Cabin was nice and warm on cold days. Clean bathrooms! Really lovely to stay here. It’s a camp but I stayed for business. Service was extremely friendly and the breakfast was unreal. Pick your pannenkoenen and enjoy. I mean just a fantastic way to start the day."

Bathrooms are detached and a little cramped, but that is really what was advertised and also it’s supposed to be a camp, so having a warm shower is actually a bonus. Reminder they are nice and clean. I didn’t feel a need for shower shoes, it was cleaner than my hotel bathroom that I stayed in the night before.

I had a lovely stay and lots of doggy cuddles too. I really loved the bamboo hut too a the stunning spot Good luck wiht it all and love the bamboo and cacao projects 💜 Katie x"

Maybe slightly bigger more comfy hammocks would make it even more blissful. OK for smaller people! 😅

"The camping is an amazing green, natural location, where you can enjoy the nature at its fullest. Yves and Malika are very kindhearted and welcoming people, that gave us a feeling of immediately feeling welcome. The tents/beds are comfortable, although the strong winds let it shake strongly, but everything went well. You can make a nice hike down to the river."

In the morning we had no electricity and that is quite necessary for charging phones. There was only one warm cover and one sofa set, which makes it difficult to use when there are also other people around. An extra sofa and some extra warm covers would come in handy, while it is quite fresh at night.

"It was great trip to the Sahara Desert Camp by camels, And is best of ale was the trip back by car and Accommodations was great,if someone would like to come to the desert, the camp is so nice."
