Our light and wholesome cuisine and our wine list are as popular as our local specialties which will be served in our cozy "Landsgmend-Stobe". The small address bar is open for private events. All accommodations have a work desk, a safe and a TV. Each room has a private bathroom. The inn besides offers extensive balneotherapy area and seminar facilities. The Heeb family pampers their guests after hikes, excursions and winter ski tours. From lush meadows in summer to romantic, snow-covered mountains in winter, the Appenzell region offers something for everybody. Unique, small shops can be found in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation.

Our room was spacious and we loved opening the windows to look out onto the village square. Seeing the herd parade at 6 am was super fun and a great send off to our 3 week stay in Switzerland."

"My third stay here in a year across seasons and each time in a different room. consistent quality in the product despite the dated feel of the property. The staff have always been a key feature of this property. Friendly and make you willing to come back. I enjoyed the restaurant although relative to some properties around, the prices were on the rich side. Interesting Autumn menu."
