"Hotel was located in a nice area of Basel and in a nice vibrant street. Also near the famous bridge of basel..the room was clean and tidy and comfortable bed. Access to hotel was easy but on Christmas time they close the road. breakfast is okay and quiet at night with no disturbance."

"floor Parquet in the hotel everywhere was old, loose and making noise and was disturbing especially at night. rooms are very small for the single person. internet connection was cutting and signal less in some areas of hotel. coffee and water were put in a shared place for all rooms within a particular floor and it was not practical at all as you have to go outside you room. they still use normal keys instead of access magnetic cards. i asked for coffee at the reception and they charged me 5 CHF knowing that i have free coffee at the floors and after i complained, they said ok u can choose not to pay but i paid anyway. i don't think it is a 4 stars hotel and staff almost do not speak well english."

"I love the single rooms with a balcony on the top floor. The views of the Rhein and Grossbasel couldn't be better! Particularly during Herbstmesse, it's the perfect spot to be. While the room is small, it is very nicely appointed, comfortable and super clean. It had everything I wanted ... and the view!!!"

"I didn’t read the reviews and didn’t realize there wasn’t air conditioning. We did open the windows but the foot traffic and restaurant noise until 2am made it hard to sleep with the windows opened."
