"The location is very secluded and we saw the northern lights there! There were no other people around so we can turn off the lights and enjoy the Aurora. Rooms were very nice and comfortable."

"The host made it easy to find the cabin with very precise instructions. Very friendly. The cabin is compact but well-appointed. The real star is the location. Just down the road from a most impressive waterfall. It is very secluded so that it is difficult to see another electric light. Certain that the the dark skies would have been great except for the clouds on the night of our stay. We tried to rent the same cottage for the next night but it was already rented. It was our best lodging experience during our stay in Iceland."

"Cosy and warm despite 70 mph winds outside! Well-stocked kitchen. The family who owns it is very friendly and chatted with us about their rutabaga farm, which we really enjoyed. Beds are comfortable, including the pull-out couch."
