"The location of the property was perfect for doing what we wanted for the two nights we stayed. We wanted to walk along the coastal path to Ponta do Sol so it was ideal. Benny the owner was super helpful in looking after us and getting a taxi on our last day."

"Although the location was great for the walk, it was a trek (which was fantastic) across beautiful mountains from Ribeira Grande and there are limited collectivos that go that way so if you are relying on a taxi it could be expensive - best to share :)"

"Ideal spot end of the Ponta Do Sol - Cruzinha walk. The rooms much brighter then the dull pics show on Booking. They did a nice dinner for us upon request. Staff set us up with shared auger for the next morning to get us to Rabiera Grande."

"All good, but was a bit disappointed the pool was closed in Feb (“do to cold season”. 75-79 mid-day is pleasant for most of the planet to jump into the water mid-day, especially after a 6+ hour trek … So I would suggest management rethinks that, or states more clearly on Booking."

"The location is amazing, almost subreal, which makes the venue somehow positively extravagant. The staff is friendly and the owner Ben shared interesting details on how it is to run a place in such a special and isolated location. The hotel faces the ocean wide open and I just loved it."

"Fantastic Location, great pool - I understand that this is sometimes empty as is needs to be cleaned, however, private beach 5 minutes away. Bit windy, but this didn't spoil the stay. Coastal walk is very close by, small village as well, with a couple of small restaurants. Food is basic, but good, large quantities as well. We had a hire car, so were mobile, but taxi can be called - and arrives fairly quickly. It is at the end of the road, so to go anywhere you have to travel backwards and forwards along this single road each time."

"It is an amazing, super quite spot surrounded by nature. it is a great location to start tracking along the coast. the place is however not maintained super well, but still we enjoyed it a lot, since we were the only guests. The lunch and dinner that was cooked there was simple but absolutely delicious"
