"I loved everything about Carpe DM ! ! My room was wonderful. The location is great. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve met anywhere. Sitting over the wonderful breakfasts Lucia made for was made even better by the great fellow guests. Fernanda, the owner, was always there to help and give advice about anything. AND don’t believe what you hear. I could not have felt more safe. The locals on the street were friendly and helpful too."

"Loved the staff here! They were so accommodating and made me feel at home (thank you Fernanda!). The dorm is super comfy and clean. Everything is spotless. Wifi was good, filtered water is provided and appreciated the airport transfers as well! Location is nice, close to other hostels and good restaurants, and a convenient walk to the historical center."

"The property is located relatively close to the downtown area and staff is very helpful with setting up activities. We did the Cotopaxi tour with them and had a wonderful time. They also allow you to have a late check out for only $10 which enables you to take a shower after your excursions :)"
