"Staff were lovely and the kitchen was very nice and the beds were very comfortable!"

The kitchen facilities are a bit tricky because one kitchen is so small (one person can fit) and the upstairs kitchen has little sitting (except outside if the weather allows).

Warmer water in the sinks in the room.

"Excellent location! Near beaches and also quiet. Close to Jijel (an easy bus ride) yet also far enough away that it felt like a small town--quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! Staff was so helpful and friendly."

Basic but good

I didn't like the messiness of the place. Overall quite chaotic building with construction sites and no comfortable shared space. There is a great rooftop, but is not really used and fully available for guests yet.

Rooms on the lower floors can be slightly noisy since they’re right in from of the pool but the people were very respectful so didn’t have much trouble.

Male shared bathroom needs a some hooks to hang clothes while using the bathroom.

"Pros - location right in old town was great. Rooms were clean and spacious (for a hostel) and the facilities were better than expected. It is in an old house and my private room had a balcony over the garden. AC worked well and the bathroom was clean with good hot water. Lots of shared spaces. The bar had reasonable food and was a good place to hang out in the evening. This was one of the better hostels I've used in Latin America. I had a private room, so can't speak for the dorms. Was quiet after 11 pm. I loved this hostel."

Cons - not much. Colonia is an expensive place to stay so the value for money was quite good. The hallway carpets could use a good cleaning, or at least a vacuum but there was construction happening in a room nearby so that might explain the dirt.

"Very well located in center of Athens. Walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. Value for money and facilities. Additionally providing luggage storage facilities before check-in or post checkout was added convenience. Good Roof Top Bar with view of Acropolis"

Nothing in general to be mentioned that i didn’t like.

"Good location, especially if you are doing any diving. Really nice that there are some affordable options in Palau. Shared bathroom facility was clean and simple. It was everything that I needed."

Communication was a bit challenging with the front desk.

"The beds were clean and had mosquito nets. The room was spacious with only 4 beds. There's an AC in the room and 2 fans. The location is good; it's like a village on the western side of the city. It is safe even walking at night. There are small shops nearby. You can buy basic stuff and cook in the fully equipped kitchen. The beaches are 15-20 minutes walking or 5 min by tuktuk. The fast ferry to the airport is just 10 min walking distance. The staff were ok and helpful. The view from the balcony is great. It's the cheapest place in town. In fact it's the only hostel in Freetown on Booking.com. They have a generator in case of power cuts. The wifi is fast."

The toilet needs a bit of cleaning and maintenance. There's no hot water and the water pressure is weak. The generator is right under the dorm window; very loud. But still; you get what you pay for. A basic hotel in the area is 3-4 times more expensive.
