Hostal Cloud Forest

"We stayed at Cloud Forest while hiking the Quilatoa Loop and it was just perfect for all of our needs. It is a beautiful property, and the sauna and Turkish bath were delightful. There were plenty of different spaces to hang out, a pool table and ping pong table to enjoy downtime, and hearty meals to fortify the next day's hike."

"The folks that run this hostel are incredibly kind. They were very hospitable and made an amazing effort to make you feel at home. Food was amazing and the best that we had traveling through Ecuador. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and fueled us for the next day of hiking. I can’t say enough good things about this hostel!"

"Very cute hostel. The room was comfortable and there was a lot of hot water. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and filling. We also got a nice lunch to go for our hike. Very sweet staff too. Highly recommend!"

"Staff are really nice and friendly. The property is huge. They have a sauna and steam room. The beds are comfy, the rooms gave shelving and are roomy, the showers were hot, and the included meals are really nice."

"The family running the hostel were such wonderful people. I’ve never been to a place where breakfast and dinner were served in a wholesome, familial atmosphere. You can tell they genuinely care about who comes through their doors. The wood stove on the room, which was lit by staff each night was also something I’ve never experienced. It was a wonderful stay."
