"We had a room with 3 beds for 2 people, so it was very spacious. The rooms all have coffee and tea and a refrigerator, plus the usual. The breakfast was good: eggs, bread, fruit, juice, and hot drinks. The Hostal is very clean, quiet and friendly. There is always someone around to help. They can arrange tours, and will also take you to the plane or ferry. I recommend staying here."

"The water in the shower was tricky to regulate to the right temperature, and walking up to the hostel you go past a small area that is messy. Don’t worry, Hostal Romy is spotless."

"Everything! Perfect location, easy checkin, lovely hosts. The hosts were helpful in getting us a coffee pot and make suggestions on where to go and were always around to answer questions. Additionally it is a very safe location."

"Our stay was so cozy and comfortable. The family is really sweet, friendly, and accommodating. They think of everything - from having fresh drinking water in the room, filling up the kettle with water so it’s ready for coffee, providing beach towels, and providing soap in the shower. They even provided a taxi to the airport. The location is wonderful, it’s just outside of the main area so it’s quiet, but close enough that everything within 5-10 minutes walking distance."

"Everything: the location (quiet, super near the airport, close to sea lions 🦭); the room (super spacious, hot water, reliable wi-fi); the hosts! I couldn’t have stayed in a better place! There’s water available 24h to fill up your water bottle. Romy - the host - helped me organise my transfer to Santa Cruz and 2 tours - I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was simple, but delicious and my room came with coffee and tea making facilities, a TV and a terrace."

"We loved staying at Hostal Romy and wished we had more time there. Spacious, clean and comfortable room and quieter area of town. Was a peaceful place to be with very friendly and helpful family as hosts. Easy walk to restaurants. They also had a nice space for rinsing and drying snorkeling gear, etc. and just had a very well designed space overall that gave each guest privacy. We would definitely stay there again!"
