"La Chonta is unlike anywhere I’ve stayed before. Deep in the cloud forest, super quiet, and surrounded by nature. The room was simple but comfortable. Loved the vibe—totally off-grid and peaceful. Andres is the coolest host! Would definitely come back."

"We prolonged our stay for 2 nights as we really loved the place. It is an amazing place for relaxing! Cool outdoor kitchen, few hammocks and little birds coming to say hi. It is a 40min walk to the city, or a 7 min taxi ride. Since we love walking, especially in the nature, this was plus for us."

"This is such a beautiful place, surrounded in nature, beautiful outside kitchen on large covered veranda, comfy hammocks and chairs and nice big table for communal meals. Showers are lovely hot and good water power. Comfortable beds. Good WiFi. Andres the host is just lovely. super helpful and encourages you to make it your home."
