"Room was nice and Vanessa is fantastic! She went out of her way to help return a shirt I left, and was super kind and accommodating during my stay. I extended my stay for a week"

"What did I like? Vanessa, the hostess. Intelligent, organized, conscientious, kind, thoughtful, very familiar with the area and has many local resources. She arranged a guide for an unforgettable nature hike. If you're there for the surf, Vanessa is a surfer. Even if you choose not to stay here be certain to visit her breakfast cafe. She prepares an excellent flavorful selection of juices, 8am to 10am. You won't regret it."

"The place is quiet, with a large outdoor kitchen, bathroom, and shower. Nestled under a large mango tree, it offers shade and the atmosphere of a secret garden. The upstairs room is large, bright, and ideal for a quiet stay."

"Lo que me me gustó más fue la ubicación del cuarto, en un piso alto que nos dio más tranquilidad, además el cuarto era muy lindo y ordenado y con espacio suficiente para los dos. Tener una amaca afuera encima fue lo ideal para momentos de relax!"

"We were driving to Baños after a trip to Cuyabeno and we stopped at Hosteria Ojo de Agua as a good distance to break up the drive. The hotel far surpassed our expectations. The rooms were modern and clean. Our window had a lovely view of the pond. And we loved the pool and property. The property has loads of extra touches that really make it so special, like a fairy house, a volley ball net, hammocks and swings, and nice little spots to sit. But most of all, the hosts made the experience. Fernanda kindly allowed my kids to help her feed the fish in the pond which was an absolute blast because some of the fish are paiche, the world’s biggest fresh water fish. She was very thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay. The food, both breakfast and dinner, were amazing in the restaurant. And if all of that wasn’t enough, we saw monkeys in the trees right outside of the restaurant and we saw macaws and parrots flying overhead."

"The owners were super friendly, the pool, the hot tub, the sauna, all the infrastructure were awesome. The included breakfast was great. Parking secure, good wi-fi, and the Hosteria is close to the place I had to visit. Recommended A+!"

"The proximity to the airport was great but then we discovered how close by and interesting the town was with all the little shops and ceviche restaurants. The grounds and pool were lovely. Our hosts were the best!"
