"The hotel was charming with that old world charm. Cozy and warm vibe. Very quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Loved the shower, it had the best water flow. Its near haymarket. Quiet and nice part of town."

"Amazing property! This is a charming hotel. We didn’t want to leave. The staff were lovely and the cooked breakfast featured generous portions. Located in a gorgeous neighborhood that allowed for quiet nights. We will stay here again."

"Breakfast all you could wish for from fruit to fry-up, staff ran to-and-fro for us and were very friendly all the time. Room sleeping under the skylight [Rm 119] was 'thrilling' - fell asleep watching the moon and the stars! Location was beautiful, tranquil, almost no traffic noise, handy for the bus and tram, walking distance to Dean Village, Water of Leith, Modern One and Two, Haymarket, city centre ... FAB-U-LOUS! And of course the whole building was classically beautiful, for example I just could have spent the days reading in the Library."
