You can besides easily rent a car from the reception to help you visit all the villages on the island.

"The room was outstanding. It was huge but most importantly it had a view to die for, from the terrace. AND it has a jacuzzi on the terrace so that one can soak in the warm water while watching the sunset"
"Nothing. Well one thing someone staying here has to to keep in mind is that there are a considerable number of stairs to negotiate. But that is the way the hotel has been constructed, on the slope, and that is how one gets the view from all the rooms."

"The facility is in a prime location, lot of people stopping to take pictures of the caldera before the stairs down to the entrance. We got the la Luna suite which was very spacious and had a great view! George and his staff were the best!!! Always available for any questions or requests we needed. George even helped book us a front row reservation for one of the most unforgettable sunset dinners. Thank you George and astera villas for the hospitality."
"The only small complaint I could think of would be the WiFi connection could be a little spotty some times but no big deal at all, just move to another location."

"Quiet hotel, nice and helpful staff, tasty breakfast, close to the beach, perfect for families. If you have a car, the hotel has good position to start you trips to western Krete. There is a sandy beach which is used by turtles to lay eggs. During august you may be lucky to see the young ones to hatch from the eggs. We have seen one. :-)"

"The hotel staff is incredibly kind and always ready to help. The facilities are fantastic — clean, well maintained, and very family-oriented. They even cooked fresh food for our baby every day and delivered it right on time with a smile! The food is excellent, and there’s a great variety of activities for both kids and adults. Having a supermarket inside the hotel is super convenient for last-minute needs like sunscreen or diapers. There’s also a car rental service and several tour operators on-site offering nice excursion packages. We loved the thoughtful touches, like the welcome basket with wine and fruits and the olive oil farewell gift. The bus to Chania stops right in front of the hotel, and the little train excursion to the lake is a perfect morning activity. The hotel app is also very useful — it has all the information you need for your stay."

Μας πήρε τηλ να μας καθοδηγήσει,έφερνε ξύλα για το τζάκι κάθε απόγευμα,ευγενικότατη,τα είχε ολα στην εντέλεια,πρωινό με φρυγανιές,καφέ,τσαι,μελι,και καλοσώρισμα.Ακόμα κ όταν ζητσαμε κάτι που είχαμε ξεχάσει να κραταμε μαζί μας (Ένα καλώδιο σύνδεσης ) Προσφέρθηκε άμεσα και μας βρήκε,και ειδικά εορταστικές μέρες που όλα ήταν κλειστά στην πόλη."

"Very nice modern apartment with all the amenities including air conditioning and washing machine, which was very helpful. It is located in about 100 meters from the beach in a small town of Vonitsa. It is not far from Lefkada, about 20 minutes by car. The host is very nice and even left some snacks for our breakfast on the first day. The bakery is next door, which is also very helpful."
