"Property is on quite a long stretch of steps up a steep driveway.But that gives you a nice view over to the other islands. Room was clean and comfortable with TV. AC microwave and kettle.Although to use these items, you have to constantly unplug something to use the two outlets that are readily available in the room. Mrs. ann , the owner was very nice and accommodating when I needed to borrow her phone charger since mine got smashed in the metal door."

Things that are particularly beyond her control. Such as having the landscaping done the full day I stayed in my room, having chickens squawking starting at 4 o'clock in the morning and other loud birds making me wake up before. I wanted to, neighbors. playing loud music. The property itself was just fine. The only thing I and other people seem to not like about it was if you wanted to go up-and-down to the town. You have to go up-and-down all these steps and go down around a bend at the intersection. Although the other girl staying there said she found a bunch of steps down near the bottom that would have cut out the bend and came more directly up to the street. We were on that. I didn't know about. I only went down there once and then it started pouring rain and I came back up later. And never went down again.There's also limited if any parking and if you have a car you'd have to park on the street with every.One else. My biggest complaint has to be that on the booking website months ago that there was airport shuttle, it says free twice on the website. And I booked it thinking I could get a ride from the Scarborough ferry up 2 the place and then back over to THE Airport where I was staying after and this is not true when I pointed that out to her and she acted like she didn't know anything. About it well when you set up the website on booking.com. You're supposed to look it over and change anything on there . That's wrong and since I booked it months and months ago. It's been on there like that misleading people into thinking they have. At least a one way free ride to the property. And it's not true. It actually cost me the same price. $110 US to go from the ferry up to the property and then take another taxi down to THE Airport area where I was staying, which was the exact amount I paid for 2 nights to stay at the property. So I was running out of cash because no taxi drivers on Trinidad or Tobago will take a credit...

"Such a cool place to stay! Close to a few beautiful Ukrainian villages and walks. The staff and reception are 💯 helpful with everything. The food and bar is very good , polite and friendly waiting staff 🤍"

"This was such a great space and I had a few more days to book an Uvita and re-booked here. Awesome atmosphere, fair price, quiet, and all the workers and people there were super kind. Great space ! Loved that each room had a back patio and only 4 to a room was really nice too. Thank you!"

"This place was filled with vintage charm. It created a nostalgic vibe that for me elevated my vacation. It clearly had once been grandiose, and although it's greatness had faded, it was still stately. I loved the terraces, huge pool, and had a nearby beach to myself. It felt like a movie set from the 60s! It would be the perfect setting for a film. If you enjoy kitsch and want to be out of the fray, book this place. It is a short distance to a fabulous restaurant, Little, and a small grocery store/deli/bakery. Warick Parish is a short bus ride to Hamilton. The owner, Brenda, was raised here and is a font of knowledge about this hotel's history."

Very small single room. Shady pricing for airport transfers: I was offered a ride from the airport for K70, my friend (she didn't stay there but was inquiring about their rooms) got an offer for K50 for the same transfer, I was offered a ride to the airport for K50. A bit further away from town (20-25 min walk). "Loud" bed.

"Nena House was a true gem. Hidden away, off the beaten path in western Rwanda, this beautiful property was a surprise and delight for my husband and I. Our hostess was wonderful and accommodating, the food was delicious and local, and the room/cottage was clean and spacious. But the real aspect of this location that won us over was that just outside the accommodations was a tiny tavern where locals came to drink, enjoy and rest after a days long work. It was a great way to connect with local residents, get to know a little bit about their lives and enjoy a frosty beer. Early in the evening, music was played and everyone had a wonderful time. The bartender was warm and welcoming and the hostess explained that the tavern was her original family home, now converted. The best part was that long before bedtime approached, the party ended and the quiet landscape became a wonderful oasis. I adored this place and found it so charming."

The only issue some people may have was that the site was a ways down a very bumpy, rough road that required good tires and patience. But the reward of the location and going past the nearby village was well worth it for my husband and I.

"Cozy little town, quiet and pitoresk. Gasthaus Emmi is located central in the town, but still has a beautiful location with an open field behind. Great garden with swimmingpool, playground for kids, rabbits and hens. Breakfast very good, local products and fresh eggs. Clean rooms."

Not new interior, but original, well taken care of and clean.

Mom was amazing and made me food and the sons were great who made my night and were an extra ice in the cake to chat with. Bighest place i have been with very comfy bed and amazing shower. "Julian was a magnificent host. He helped me arrange an excellent taxi driver who got me to the airport safely and quickly for less money than I was expecting. I got mugged (at 11 am) in Georgetown, so be mindful that it isn't the safest place. Don't travel with lots of valuables on you. I was able to fight off my attackers, so I kept the money and phone I was carrying. Anyway, Julian was a great place to stay."

"This is the best place where you can stay! It's clean and comfortable and maybe not in the very center town but you meet a very nice , friendly and lovely family. In Italy we say "you find a friend, you find a treasure", this is what you're going to live."

"The owner were really kind. The landscape around the house is great. Good start for hiking. They offer transportation to/from the village of Mavrovi Anovi. They can cook for you if you ask in advance."

A little bit cold even in summer but they provide big blankets. The hot water is not always working. The owners don't speak English but their grand daughter does so you can call her to translate. There is no wifi but it's a good digital detox.

These was no cleaning for 6 days stay and also no proper cupboards

"I really liked the staff, always ready and willing to help, replying to messages very fast at any time, and truly considering options that could help with any problem you might have. The room had everything you need (mini fridge, closet, drawers). Bed was comfy and location was pretty convenient. Very happy with my stay!"

These are just details, but I believe the lock for the window was broken, and there was no toilet paper right at the moment of check-in, but it makes sense as they're still transitioning into the new batch of guests at that time. There were a few flies on the floor, maybe they could be sweeped more often? Other than that, the place is great value!
