"The prime location! Right across from American memorial park. 3 minute walk to an excellent beach to drink your coffee on and watch sea turtles. Right down the street from the many bars and karaoke. Walking distance to the Marina to catch tour boats to Managha, fishing charters, or dive tours. The building is a little older but the owners work very hard to keep it clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable."

It’s not your beach resort with a pool and expensive cocktails if that is what you are looking for.

Traffic was a bit heavy getting there but we loved the scenery.

"The staff was super freindly and you could serve yerself with caffee and tea troughout the whole day without extra charge. The breakfast was fine, nothing fancy but everyone could find something. The pension has a great location, you can reach the old town with a 10-minuta walk. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay."

The beds are a bit too hard, but other than that everything was okay.

"The staff of the hotel was very welcoming and helpful. They checked in on us to make sure that everything was satisfactory with the room. They brought us more supplies and left them on the door while we were out. They even called a cab for us when it was time to leave. It was about a 10-minute walk into downtown Charlestown. We had breakfast at Cafe Des arts on the ground to the Alexander Hamilton museum every morning. Getting to Pinney Beach took a little longer than we expected. The first time we walked there. The walk was long a pretty busy road and as typical in this part of the world, there were no sidewalks. The next time that we went to the beach, we hired a taxi for about $12 US. There are lots of good restaurants and bars on Pinney Beach to enjoy."

This review is written with a full understanding of what life and accommodations look like in the islands. There are some things like only warm and not hot water or low water pressure that would be unacceptable if I were staying at a property in the US or Europe. Just understand when you choose accommodations in the islands water and electricity are often out of the venues hands.

Asked the staff for wifi and they tolld me 10 minutes and then i never heard from them again. Later on, I asked the owner for wifi and was basically ignored. You can get cheaper places on the beach with wifi but I will say that it was a comfortable place.

Shower water pressure wasn't great.

"Very friendly, professional and personal service. Room and facilities were very clean and well maintained. Garden and surroundings are kept neat and clean daily. Ideally located to visit tourist attractions within reasonable radius. Piggs Peak town 1km away and provides all necessary shops, fuel stations and off course a KFC."

J'ai apprécié aussi la proposition d'un chauffeur depuis l'aéroport compris dans le tarif. Il y a un super marché à 300m bien pratique."

По информация от сайта - размерът на стаята е 15 кв.м. За стая Nо 2 тази квадратура вероятно включва и банята, и балкона. Стаята е изключително малка. За една-две нощи е ОК, но за по-дълга ваканция за двама не е за предпочитане. Би било добре да се постави закачалка за връхни дрехи (към момента липсва).

"Bay View Apartments are very sweet and located about a 10 minute walk (up a hill) from the ferry dock. My lovely view from the balcony was overlooking Grand Bay. My room was comfortable and had everything i needed. The staff was very kind and helpful."

"This is a very affordable hotel. Convenient location. We were visiting friends and they recommended it. The staff was great and super responsive. The common area has a great vibe. Lots of young people. We are older so that was not so important to us. I would stay again!"

We thought the mattress and pillows were hard but we managed ( we are an older couple). When I gave the owner feedback she said we should’ve said something and she would’ve changed them out which is super. We don’t like to complain but it’s nice to know they want to take care of you.

"Beautiful grounds. Several nice areas to sit outside of your cottage or room. The breakfast area is beautiful!"

The only thing I didn’t like was the space in my room. Granted, I chose the least expensive! But due to the structure (conical/tent like) and the size of the bed (nice, comfortable queen) it was difficult to stand up in the room. And no place to sit other than on the bed which was raised just a bit from the floor on a platform. That all being said, everything was clean and the bed very comfortable. But if you want to feel more comfortable in your room get a bungalow. They look very nice! Or if you just want a place to lay your head the smaller rooms are great! Just a preference for me and note to anyone who may feel the same about having some space in your room to sit and relax.

"We liked absolutely everything! Great location, very comfortable bungalows with comfortable bed, welcoming staff who go out of their way to make the most of the experience. Nice property with sun chairs, benches under a shelter, a jetty to get out to the deeper water for a swim. It’s located on the quiet west coast of the island (which we absolutely liked!). There is not much around, but supermarket 15-20 mins walking away, great pizza place that delivers is not far. Free kayak and bike rental. Feels very private; and we actually came back as we liked it so much."

There's not much to not like, The pool was being filled but we still got some water time and they really made us feel like we were at home. Food needs to be ordered ahead of time, which is fine.
