"The room and house were very clean and tidy. The owner was nice and friendly, and the neighborhood was nice too. Murphy's Pub was a very good place to eat and located close by."

This is probably pretty minor, but the beds were just okay, and they were on wheels so they moved around some in the night when I turned over. But over all, everything was nice.

Very clean, neatly decorated and perfectly equipped facilities, ideally located in between st. julians and sliema, easy to reach anywhere on the island with public transport. "All went on well, I had a team of 10 from Uganda. We had a great time. The breakfast was great, and the place is close to the beach, just a 3 minute walk to the Beach front."

For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.

My friend had some crazy blisters from a previous hike and the daughter in the family helped bandage them - and Oscar also tried to let her use his hiking boots. We also helped cook dinner and ate with the family which was a very meaningful experience for us. We loved every second. Best hostel experience in our 2-3 weeks in South America."

"We enjoyed our stay at Tequila Sunrise. Timmi, the owner, is quite friendly and helpful. Her house is colorful and stands out in the neighborhood. The room seems very new. It is spotlessly clean, large, and includes a complete kitchen. It has all the appliances you could possibly use. There is a very large bottle of drinking water so you will never be thirsty. The air conditioning is strong and the TV has many channels. I would recommend this this lodging to anyone staying in Antigua."

No shower curtain, beds were uncomfortable, room only had a space heater and was always a little cold (in January). Had to change rooms in the middle of the stay. I would avoid this place as a single female traveler due to security issues as my first room didn't fully close and neither room locked. Male host was very friendly but unprofessional -- offered to get the two of us alcohol so we could hang out together.

"Luis is the best, you feel like a guest in his home and you will meet his family. His hospitality, kindness, restaurant recommendations, and bus tips made the stay extra special. Comfortable bed with plenty of desk and space to hang clothing items. Fan and air con available, although I only needed to use the fan. Spacious shower with good water pressure, although the bathroom was a bit small. Nice central courtyard, was able to use their fridge and filtered water. Was quiet at night."

"If you are more a visitor then a tourist, if you like exploring and going further when comfortable tourism ends, this place is for you. The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. The PNGFE made my stay very comfortable and made me experience local life and the raw nature of PNG!!"

"Alfa is a very friendly host who will help you with all he can without any opportunistic motives. His place is clean and welcoming. Large and tasty breakfast included. The dinner they cooked for us was absolutely delicious, we loved the Peulh cheese! And all this at a very good price - great value for money. Very funny for us Belgians to be welcomed in Dutch :-)"

The surroundings of the house are not really beautiful, but we stayed here as an overnight stop between Cotonou and the Tanéka villages.

This is pretty much my fault, but I could’ve picked a better location. Still was quite acceptable.

"I visited 4 islands in Polynesia, and this was the BEST one for many reasons. The staff-owners are kind and welcoming and multilingual. The place is serene, remote, and un-touristy. I felt like I could actually relax, as a result. I read, explored the clear and warm waters, napped, walked around, took tours, and enjoyed a slow pace for a few days. It was beautiful. The property itself is well and lovingly maintained. The windows and balcony doors had no screens so the breezes swept through gently and unencumbered. It was like being bathed in winds. (If you need it, there is a mosquito net in the room). There are cute little doggies that greet you and every boat as you pull up and they watch you as you sail away. Pretty place, scenic."

It suited me just fine, but some people might not like that there is no wifi in the rooms and there are no tvs either. (THERE IS WIFI 24/7 in the main lodge). It’s really a place to unplug, read, write, and swim and explore.

"After being welcomed at the jetty we received a wet towel, tasty sandwiches and a refreshing drink. The staff was super friendly and we also liked the island, the room and the breakfast. We got water every day and beach towels."

The shower is open, so the bathroom gets wet every time you shower.

"We were originally going to stay at the main Thermal Hotel, but saw this and the rating and thought why not, and so glad we did! The property is next door and in the centre, and the host is amazing. Guy called me ahead of arrival to tell me about location / access etc, and was the perfect host when we arrived. He had even set up the room TV including Netflix to our language. The rooms were not only spotless but modern with an elegant touch. Would definitely recommend."
