"The property has a very good location, you can ski to the center and to the foot of the mountain. It is very clean and spacious, we booked two apartments and we are very satisfied with them. Wifi is okay, it works nicely. There’s parking and kitchen and two bathrooms and a toilet in those two apartments."

The owner was with us at the house, and he wanted to help us with the snow around our cars, but we didn’t always feel comfortable around him. He was cheerful and kind man sometimes, but sometimes he made unnecessary comments which were not needed in this type of situation since we are the guests there.

"Kevin was a helpful and informative host . He is also a good cook , delivering large portions of food at mealtimes . The house is a pretty cottage in a nice setting ."

I struggled to get hot water in the shower for a while . The road nearby is quiet which is good for sleeping but not so good for public transport .

"Dudy was such a pleasure to stay with and I highly recommend booking with him. He graciously let me drop off my belongings early and pick them up after checkout so that I had extra time to explore the city. The room was spacious and I felt extremely comfortable the entire time. And what a beautiful garden! We had some great conversations about the plants that I was seeing and about his recommendations for the best things to do in the city. I was glad that I took his advice. Thank you so much for hosting me and making my trip wonderful!"

"The hosts are the most welcoming and nice people. They are very friendly, helping and responsive. We felt very welcomed here. The room was very nice with vintage furniture that has this wonderful specific scent of a vintage furniture. Wonderfully decorated, the room and the kitchen create very warm feeling. Anna Christina was even willing to help us with the breakfast and charged very generously for it. And her husband helped me with the luggage because I damaged my back recently. Thank you so much for your help and hospitality!"

We didn't expect that "shared kitchen" means that the host is actually living and sleeping at the kitchen, but as we stayed for one night it was not a problem.

"The space is pretty cool and has character . There were 2 other guests but it was obvious. Actually had a great chat with them . But the property inside has a charm to it . Open and airy. The star is the host who is warm and friendly and a local , so you get the vibe of actually being in Guyana . The host was very accommodating and me the stay feel very micasa sucasa. I would stay here again and again ."

It’s just on 2nd bathroom the heater don’t work.

"Very comfortable, spacious, and private. Location was safe, gated, and welcoming. Sitting areas, balcony, and kitchen were available. The hosts were just simply AMAZING. We so enjoyed spending time with them and conversing as we were able. Issa welcomed us with a big smile and much kindness. They were also very helpful to us concerning food for our brief stay. We cannot recommend Issa’s House more highly. We loved it, and them."

"Very helpful owner, Jose. He was very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. We also had access to a fully equipped kitchen, which was extremely convenient and made our stay much more comfortable. Only 15 min. away from skiing resort Romme Alpin. Highly recommended!"

"The host and her granddaughter who helped with my stay were amazing. The host picked me up in the city and brought me to St Marys and again to the airport in the morning. The traffic was terrible leaving Quito, I felt sorry for the host dealing with it. I was a little concerned that the dogs and other guests might continue making noise throughout the night but that wasn't the case. You are certainly aware of your proximity to the airport as you can hear planes over head. The 'village' is spotlessly clean and well maintained."

I wish there gad been an option to pay with credit card, but I get it.

"Second time renting that room. So I knew ahead that I ll have a nice room in a friendly environment."

"Unmanned hotel. Clear instruction to guests entering the hotel, public kitchen is very good, tidy, floor heating is nice. clear instruction garbage sorting. Near airport."

"Very nice and special place, 15 min from the town (it's a beautiful walk along the beach). Placed tight at the beach. Very beautiful common areas with a great unique vibe. Eggs, onions and garlic for cooking available, coffee too. Andres is always around, very nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. Beautiful stars in the night."

You can only charge your electronic devices if you give them to Andres (which is easy enough though because he is around a lot). And it's understandable given the location of the hostel.

"Eenvoudig, maar praktisch ingericht en voorzien van alle gemakken! Prima bed (niet zo breed) Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Super vriendelijke host!"

Als ik persé iets zou moeten noemen, is het het ontbreken van een kraan en wasbak in het keukenblok. Creatief met afwassen, door vullen van de aanwezige teil met de waterkoker, die je in de badkamer met een kommetje moet vullen, omdat hij niet onder de kraan past 😁 Maar goed, ik vond het zelf gewoon prima zo.

I loved the property except it took a while for the living room area to cool down due to the AC only being in the bedrooms

"I haven't eaten so can't comment in breakfast and such. I had to cook my own food for dinner, which is fine. REALLY nice kitchen and good Vibes..it's so peaceful and wonderful here. amazing breathe inside of a city. so grateful he has created this sacred space 🙏"
