"The location was ok, between metro stations Manuel Montt and Salvador. All the staff were super nice!"

Acoustics. You could hear everything. No AC in my room, but it wasn't necessary either as it was not a very hot day.

Communication was a bit challenging with the front desk.

It is on the 2nd floor, and no lift, luckily i didnt bring heavy lugage.. also the staff service is amazing they offer to help to bring the lugage.

I stayed in the room at the very top of the building, so you could hear some kind of generator outside the walls the whole night. So there was some noise. Unsure if from inside or a neighbor.

"It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice."

"The location sits on main public transit options; Bus stop, METRO station, and one street away a main connecting street offering additional public bus stops & connections. A short walk uphill lands you at a central interception from which all directions of pedestrian pathways are possible to explore the city and sights."

Food shops & markets in the district are regionally expensive. The area for basic cold food storage and microwave reheating of food needs a serious update. For the number of guests the refrigerator is way to small. The small microwave does not fit common delivery food packages, or a standard dinner plate for reheating.

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

I had a couple of noisy roommates who snored but otherwise it was ok.

The bed was a little hard for me as a side sleeper.

"We loved how quaint & authentic the decor was. I felt I was in Peru & not in an American cookie cutter hotel. We were warmly greeted by the hotel staff. They fixed our TV issues quickly. Gave us bottled water & candy. Very nice breakfast including scrambled eggs! We were near the bluffs so an easy walk. Also to walk to the Indian Market was about 20-30 minutes, a decent stroll."

Construction next door was going on but stopped by 500pm. No air conditioning but was provided a fan which worked out to be fine

The bathrooms were a little messy and did not have great quality. Some parts were just dated overall. Not too much to complain about.

"I stayed in a male shared dorm in the upper floor. Great location! Many restaurants & cafe on the same street. Very kind staff and safe location. Walking distance to Renissance market place and attraractions around it."

Male shared bathroom needs a some hooks to hang clothes while using the bathroom.

"Very good value. Beachfront hostel. Beautiful views. Functional kitchen with helpful accessories. Hot water in shower with a quality towel provided. Comfortable beds. Fans provided but rooms can still be very warm."

A/C not available but would be nice for guests willing to pay for an upgrade.

"Very clean rooms with air conditioning at a very reasonable price a bit low in my opinion. The parking is also gated with code access which makes you feel very secure about your car. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with any queries."

Everything was perfect.

The beds were quite uncomfortable. Mosquito nets full of holes. Understandably the building and windows are old but need to have appendages added to be able to prop them open because there is no airflow and pretty stuffy and smelly rooms.

I didn't like the messiness of the place. Overall quite chaotic building with construction sites and no comfortable shared space. There is a great rooftop, but is not really used and fully available for guests yet.

"Great value for the money. We had bug net on windows and around the bed. Hot water in the shower, you can see the ocean from the roof. Street is not busy, can park car next to a hotel door. Overall I'm really happy with my stay."
