"We had a wonderful stay. It's a good way to get to know the Uzbek culture, far away from the touristy areas. It's run by a family. Nigina and her girls cooked amazing fresh food every day. Best food we had in whole Uzbekistan especially the Plov, even the guides who stayed there it's one of the best they ever had. Raxmat is an amazing host he helped us with thing from the beginning till the end, with transportation or also with hike tours. The place is good for every type of travellers, there were also some families, solo female travelers etc. For us, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice to disconnect (they have wifi) but we never used it. There is plenty of things to do like hiking etc. We will miss this wonderful place. Thank you again Raxmat and Nigina!"

"Elton was the best host I’ve ever had. He helped coordinate transport and with getting access to things I needed. Place was clean and secure. WiFi good. Location is a bit further from beach but just a $1.50 -$3 USD taxi anywhere around the city."

"Quiet spot that's a short walk to the harbor where Nuuk Water Taxi and the Arctic Umiaq line leave from. The host was very friendly and helpful with luggage storage. Small place with only 3 rooms and a shared kitchen."

Wasn't a problem for me but as a warning you must climb up a lot of stairs to get in.

"Best location, right in the Old Town but on a rather small and calm street. Walking distance from the railway station (20 minutes), and to all interesting places in the center. Lovely restaurants and bars all around. Easy to find and to check-in digitally at late night. Only four beds in the room but still low price. From the first minute, this hostel felt welcoming and very cosy. Easy to relate to other guests, maybe because of the nice atmosphere. Kitchen very well equipped and with a large table for eating or playing games."

Textile carpeting in the dormitory. It felt clean enough, but not very easy to keep sane.

"Amazing experience within the local villages, natural beauty and in a calm area. Very nice staff, everybody takes a lot of care to make you feel good. Recommended to take the opportunity to go around with a guide to avoid orientation problems."

Like everyone else said, the hill to get there is quite steep, but you do get used to it. The six bed dorm was quite spacious, but I do wish the beds were more comfortable and had curtains!

"Everything. However social area is small, we could stay in "the restaurant", but until 22:00 or 23:00. Internet was good, really strong for videocalls."

"Nice studio and well equipped. The studio is situated in a beautiful inner garden of the house with trees which provide shade and there is a table where you can stay and drink a coffe and relax. Nice and helpful owner. Free Parking on the street. Close to public transport which takes you to the city center."

"Just a regular hostel with rooms. The walls are thin so you can easily hear some noise from other guests. If you need the place just to stay somewhere and rest - it’s OK, but don’t expect anything special from it."

"Cozy hostel, loved the shared space with couches. The host was amazing and had lots of recommendations for things to see and do in Prizren. It was also nice that the hostel was on a quiet street but was a quick 3 minute walk to the center."

"Staff & location are excellent. Everything was clean too. Lockers are free & very big. But it is a hostel, so it mostly depends upon who you get for roommates on how much you sleep, or not. Overall, would do it again."

"Very good value. Beachfront hostel. Beautiful views. Functional kitchen with helpful accessories. Hot water in shower with a quality towel provided. Comfortable beds. Fans provided but rooms can still be very warm."

"Everyone was so nice and Caring. The maid was so cute and the beds were quite comfortable. LOVED JESSIE thank god for him really. I loved that the kitchen was small but practical and closed to the tables so everyone could talk and socialize"

I just didn’t like the sand everywhere for example when I get out of the shower maybe adding some carpet so that our bed don’t get sandy but it wasn’t that big of a deal. So grateful I stayed at the Surfside

"The facility is good if you remember its price. The communication with the host was perfect, as well as the location. The room was modest but with all necessary equipment for such a price. The territory and the stuff are excellent."

The kitchen facilities are a bit tricky because one kitchen is so small (one person can fit) and the upstairs kitchen has little sitting (except outside if the weather allows).
