Luxury tents in Morocco

"This was such an amazing experience! I was skeptical about camping at first but I am so glad we did! We were taken care of the moment we arrived. The rooms were great and very clean with full bathrooms. They had lots of mosquito nets available for use and we slept great! The boat ride, night walk, and bonfire dinner were all so great! The place is beautiful and has so much to explore. We woke up early the next morning to do the safari and our guide, Pathum, was amazing and took us on a different route away from the other trucks so we were alone and saw all of the different animals. He also gave us his binoculars to use and regularly stopped and pointed out different animals for us to look at. We even got up close and personal to an elephant all by ourselves. I highly recommend for anyone looking to have a different experience!"

"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"

There is a lot of mice. One mouse bit me in sleep to my finger. Before you go to bed, don't bring any food into the tent and put the door-mat behind the doors so mice don't have a way in. If you come during winter, bring a sleeping bag, it was very cold. They had 5 blankets though. I suggest, when there's cold, that one person sleeps in sleeping bag, one with blankets.

"Wonderful experience at this dome. Despite awful weather - wind, rain, hail, thunderstorm.. the stay was great. Interior is very beautiful, and nicely decorated. At some point we got to enjoy sunny weather for couple of hours too, and that uncovered spectacular view to the sea. Hot tub is a must especially in cold weather - we were sitting in a hot water, looking at the sea, while there is raining and thunder going on. Great experience. Would suggest friends to go there too."

We did have minor problem with sink, but all was fine in the end and was easily fixed with host

Not a problem with the campsite: there is 8 km unpaved road only to this place.

"Staff was amazing. Rachel went above and beyond any call of duty to have us met from a late bus, organised a park trip and had us dropped in morrogoro. Nesto made sure we were safe in the campground. Breakfast was great, more like brunch.Highly recommend the camping but for the bravehearted...loved sitting around the campfire in the early hours of the morning, listening to the sound of silence and occasionalanimal call, watching the moon sail across the sky from the net window of the tent... the sister hotel nearby has lovely rooms, at a very reasonable rate."

"It was a true eco Lodge experience! It was almost like camping and the surrounding nature is incredible. They hire canoeing tours around the island as well which was great. The staff was great and was more than willing to assist with any requests. They have a big library and it's a great opportunity to digital detox"

This experience may not be for everyone. The wifi was shotty and slow at best. If you want freedom to travel, be prepared to pay extra for the boats. Otherwise you are restricted to the island except for the 1 free boat each way per day. We didn't mind this though. They have an extensive menu and many vegetarian options but it was average.

"The location is a bit out of the city center, which you can expect for accommodation in yurts. It is a pleasant, peaceful, quiet location. The tent was really clean and nice. The lady who welcomed me was very kind, the breakfast was very tasty and the property itself is beautiful. During my stay, they were still doing some work, I believe, so it will be even nicer over time. But it was already top of the top!"

When I marked the location of the accommodation on Yandex, the driver had some problems finding the accommodation. The same thing happened to me when I left. The drivers and employees were so friendly that I just handed them the phone and they arranged everything themselves.

"The host are super nice and really helpful. They recommended some tours in the area and a restaurant in town. The property was affected by the floods a few months ago so it was muddy when we went. The cabin were super clean and the beds confortable. Overall, we quite enjoyed the experience. The property is on a monkey trail so we saw monkeys both days we were there. Be ready to be woken up at 5.30-6am by howling monkeys, but your can spend hours watching them."

Make sure to bring mosquito spay since they are quite a few after sunset. No wifi on property and network isn’t steady, you can go to a restaurant in town of you need it.

It’s very nature so you will see geckos in the room, they don’t bother you but it’s quite big one which it a bit scary

"Breakfast was perfect! Dinner was delicious… Enjoyed the room… it was beautiful! And well equipped for cold weather. Staff was so nice and friendly! Great location!"

Unfortunately, they cannot have a shower in the dome.. that was the only inconvenience!
