"Pillows need an up-date, also, the cheap & nasty toilet paper definately needs improving! Expensive overnight parking!! Scrambled eggs for breakfast could certainly be improved with a few more eggs!!"

"The hotel is out of the hubbub of central Bath and has lovely, cared-for grounds of its own, as well as a sunny terrace. It has a deeply familial and country house atmosphere, bolstered by squashy sofas and the owners' art on the walls. The staff are universally charming and a pleasure to be around. Our bedroom was generously sized, attractively furnished in keeping with the style of the hotel and extremely well equipped. Having (with difficulty) restricted ourselves to one very fine scone each for tea, we elected to have one of the tasting menus with accompanying flight of wine for supper. The chef knows what he's doing: I especially enjoyed the crab and the monkfish. Wines ranged globally, with a memorable Spanish white rioja among the treats on offer. At breakfast there was an extensive menu and coffee was excellent. We weren't here long enough to venture into Bath proper, but it looks like an attractive stroll across a public park."

"It would be churlish to complain about the price. We will certainly return if our travels bring us Bathwards again."

"Ha e stayed twice now and had great experiences both stays. It's in a great location making Bath sight seeing and exploring easily walkable. The staff at the Roseate are always very friendly and accommodating."
