There is no fridge in the room, only two glasses were given for three persons.

The beachfront access and views can't be beat, however it's a little far from town and therefore difficult to leave the hotel to go to restaurants, shops etc. without a car.

"The view is gorgeous. Restaurant is very expensive and service is slow after you are served. Pool service is also a bit slow."

Taxi service even when we called ahead was slow. Couldn’t get a water bottle from The front desk at $1275 a night. The hotel is far from Hamilton so plan to spend $50-$100 per day to leave the resort for activities.

"Location was convenient for access to the airport which was important to me. Breakfast was ok. Staff were nice and friendly. Room was comfortable and well appointment. The small pool deck and gym were nice inclusions."

A little more options and selection at the small shop they have on site would be good - maybe like some newspapers, fresh pastries or fruit would be nice to have.

"The manager and the staff are very friendly, they help in every aspect. The accommodation is clean and they offer an excellent breakfast. All in all, I don't have anything to reclaim."

There was nothing I did not like.

"The room was quite nice, clean & well planned. Good lighting. Ventilation was a bit challenging. The upper window was very hard to reach to open & close. Quiet for right on the street."

See above. Oh, and someone really needed to vacuum the lift rug!

The only issue we had was that the water in the room was a little yellow. We were told that all the water on the island was that way, so I don’t think it could have been helped.

"J’avais choisi El rancho au vu de sa proximité avec le centre ville de Grand bourg et aussi parce que le petit déjeuner était compris… Malheureusement ce n’était pas le cas . "Beautifully landscaped and the room was kept very clean while we were there. Two separate things. 1) Raul Salas was amazing. He spoke very good English and was able to assist me with everything from getting a glass of wine to paying my bill! 2) The morning we left, I dropped my credit card. I realized it later in the day and called a friend of mine. She contacted the hotel and the gardener had found it! I got it back the next day. We are so grateful to the gardener who was so honest to turn it in! Thank you, sir."

The food was just ok.

Breakfast (really good) starts at 8.30. Should at 6.30 or. 7.00. Sound isolation not too good. Instead of infrared could have been proper sauna.

"It was an amazing experience. Staff was friendly and professional in the same time. Facilities were clean at all times. Room was spacious and clean, cozy bed. We have had full access at the spa area, where was relaxing( 3 different saunas, pool, jacuzzi), also noticed the cleanness at all times. I warmly recommend this location."

"The family room was small, but had everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the drink prices were reasonable. The best choice in the area. Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

"The location is excellent, just a short walk to Skansin and Tinganes, making it a perfect base for exploring Tórshavn. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room only had a view of the rock wall in the backyard, so there wasn’t much natural light, but we didn’t mind. If you’re looking for better views, it’s worth booking an upgraded room."

Breakfast was good: not exceptional, but it had everything we needed to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The thermal facilities were excellent and relaxing, especially in the cold weather. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had good variety. The surrounding nature and snowy views made the stay even more special."

The location is a bit far from the city center, so transportation can be limited without a car. However, the hotel provides a transportation if you need.

Suggest a place to put used crockery from breakfast rather than just on the counter, especially if multiple guests. Maybe a bowl.
