"it’s clean, convenient, shirt walking distance to interesting spots in town, nice swimming pool and views, comfortable bedding, very nice staff"

this could be improved: -the beach has a lot of potential, buiding a nice peer with stairs for a sea swim would make it much better -there isnt enough shade in the garden and the sun is punishing -the trees on the beach have fruits that hurt when falling, as part of garden maintenance they should be shuffled to drop the fruits upfront -the restaurant options both for breakfast, meals and snacks, leaves out a lot of the good things of Sao Tome. Look at your competitor Riu, for instance, they always have a section with local treats

"The best hotel option in Rosseau. The breakfast buffet was excellent, although not inexpensive ($25 USD). Several bars located throughout the property, with the pool bar being our favorite. The lobby and new part of the building look great. We did a few dives with the dive shop located on site and they are excellent!"

The older part of the hotel is dated and not as nice as the newer part. The cruise ships dock right outside the hotel, which takes away from your view of the ocean and adds 2,000+ people to an already busy city. The pool, although nice and surprisingly not busy during our stay, is undersized. The city of Rosseau is not nice, overpopulated, and unbearable to drive through. There is no need to leave the resort.

"Mercure is just a short drive away from the airport and we went with a transfer booked through Booking.com to making going to and from the airport streamlined. Check-in was quick and easy the staff were friendly and food was reasonably priced at the restaurant. The room was clean and the pool was great for the hot and humid weather. It was also close to supermarkets, movies and other restaurants which served a variety of food."

The bathroom felt a bit outdated.

"Excellent cozy family friendly resort. Staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive. Salt water and mineral water pools were refreshing. Excellent location, close to Mambo Beach, a beautiful, clean sand beach, with free access to Madeiro Beach Club. Close to restaurants and shops of Mambo Beach Blvd. Comfortable rooms. A nice touch to have pool toys and floats for kids and sand toys to borrow for the beach as well as drying rack in room for wet swim suits. On-site Reef Restaurant had delicious breakfasts. It was great to have a complimentary shuttle to grocery store. Only suggestions are to have daily housekeeping and full sized pillows for beds and face/wash cloths in hotel suites."

I seat at the pool they come to me asking me if I want something,ask for a drink 🍸 and they forgot about it 😅

"The nature, the vibe, the soviet style memories- just to let you know its not for everyone- nothing fancy, at least not at the moment. It was an exceptional experience for sure. You will like it if you go with tight mindset of travel back in time. Food in the restaurant was nice, the owner is cool and the staff is friendly. Nature around is amazing, even a bat visited us in the room:))"

It definetely needs some tune up, at least to change the bedsheets, pilows for the starters (bringing your own for now isnt a bad idea), and then fix the broken wardrobes and handles.

"The location is excellent, just a short walk to Skansin and Tinganes, making it a perfect base for exploring Tórshavn. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room only had a view of the rock wall in the backyard, so there wasn’t much natural light, but we didn’t mind. If you’re looking for better views, it’s worth booking an upgraded room."

Breakfast was good: not exceptional, but it had everything we needed to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Lobby area by bar or library carpet looks dirty or filthy -needs newer carpet or change color to brighten the room , I was bitten a lot by mosquitoes while I was seated at the lobby for few minutes, I told the front desk and showed them my mosquito bites and they seem like no clue what I was saying. Hallways to the room needs some updates looks old but it’s fine, it’s clean.

Room was too small, and the older gentleman who checked me out was unfriendly and little sarcastic (unprofessional). Was little far from downtown.

"The location was excellent and well kept. The view from the hotel was excellent. The outside building looked old but the inside was very well made. It has a small shopping complex attached to the lobby."

Disappointed with how breakfast servers expect tip for them brining the coffee to you. If you don't tip them one day, they won't even ask you for coffee the other day. That behavior from a 5 star hotel was disgusting. The shower massage did not work. I stayed in two rooms but it was not working in any of the rooms. The bidet was leaking. You just don't expect such things from a 5 star. Being a 5 star hotel they don't carry a first aid box. I was shocked when they told me the don't have first aid when I needed something. A small organization of 15 people have first aid and this was a well branded 5 start hotel.

"The buffet was amazing for both breakfast and dinner, the bed was huge and we slept like babies. We arrived at the hotel at 6AM and they were kind enough to check us in around 10AM free of charge."

We stayed in Doha during Ramadan and the hotel’s policy was not to serve drinks or eat outdoors until sunset. The staff was extremely polite about that, but for us, as tourists it was a bit unpleasant not to be able to enjoy breakfast on the terrace, in the warm sun.

The soups could be done better. Supervisor to check food on display to be reimbursed. Our beds were two single beds which were too small in size.

"The hotel is located right next to the Cathedral of Maputo. WiFi connection was stable and good quality. Breakfast was included and had a variety of choices. The receptionist Mr. Ibraimo Lai was amazing: he was very professional and helpful. We booked a basic room, and we asked if he could assign a room at higher floor, and he ended up upgraded us to a suite room, which has the best view of the city. If one day we come back to Pestana Rovuma, he will be one of the factors."

"The hotel has very nice reasonably priced rooms facing the lake and the island..The best being those to the right as you face the lake, those to the left have small windows. The rooms are comfortable but in need of a little update. This goes for the hotel as a whole but the great views are the bonus and it's only an 11 minute walk to the island."

Missing soap and shampoo in the bathroom, only 2 towels provided and two small pillows. The airport shuttle does not operate when needed. So many flights from Europe arrived in the evening after 7 pm and the shuttle only works until 7 pm? Also forget it if you need a shuttle before 730 am to catch a flight. For such an international location as Libreville, it would be helpful if the concierge staff could speak some English or understand it. Use google translate...but don't expect much patience from the concierge staff. In Douala, the Onomo staff were more accommodating and bilingual. For the LBV location, only the early morning concierge staff were professional.

- spots on the carpet floor in the room from weeks or maybe months ago - breakfast environment: tables are like 'here you sit and eat' - breakfast includes: tomato and cucumber that should be much better quality - the water temperature changes frequently while you are taking a shower and adjusted the knob properly

"The hotel is perfectly located for arriving by bus late at night. A few minutes walk and you are at the hotel.. There is no need to worry about finding an honest taxi or onward travel. A very warm and friendly welcome by professional reception staff who speak English. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. There is a very good supermarket next door and lots of restaurants. It is a short, easy walk to the centre to and you can leave your luggage after check out so perfect if your onward travel is by bus. Kosovo is such a friendly country, and I loved the atmosphere and welcome in Prishtina."
